Even if the ratings do fall, Kylie has been a great judge on The Voice. A proper star with class.
XF missed a trick in not getting her.

Is last week's consolidated figure for The Voice released yet?

Anything for the new BBC4 Euro-drama last night?

The big question is which broadcaster will commission Celebrity Slopestyle first!

Those figures come out at about 12.30 each day.

Ha Ha! Can you imagine how low the slopes would have to be to get a celebrity to do it?

I love how people here don't care what happens to The Voice after blinds if the ratings are high to start with it can "afford" to lose 2 million, no that still makes it a flawed format, going from 9 million to 6/7 million isn't good regardless of how high the original rating was. The same people saying thats good also criticse BOAF for dropping 2 million from a high start and would probablhy criticise TXF if it did the same.
As for predicting Rising Stars to flop? On what basis has that come from? I read ot got a 49% audience shar in its origin country how has that success become a flop over here?

So after all that talk of a weekday spin off for the voice yesterday, it's actually happening starting from the lives, funny old world!

It works both ways though as we all know. The people criticising TVUK and Musketeers for dropping ratings are the same who will say Selfridge/BOAF drops dont matter. Its par for the course on here.

And is why the thread is a pathetic shadow of it's former self.

In terms of The Voice it can afford the drop and on paper it will drop a bit with improved competition and a less loved phase of the show coming up.

I see we have another spin off show taking up space on BBC Two. That can't harm the main show figures.

Will ITV pull their socks up and try something different or just give up on days like these? One will be good for television; the other will be a bleak day if it happens.

Thank you for posting the figures. BBC One and BBC Two both had very good days and hurt the other channels.

I think Itv will give up. Just like how they've given up against Strictly by airing cheap game shows against it and up against New tricks when they lie low. They have very few hits and they'll protect them as much as possible by avoiding big bbc1 shows. It's good for BBC1/BBC2 and other channels if Itv dont pull up their socks, gives all those channels an opportunity to grow their shares.

Star Wars doing worse there on Saturday teatimes on the main channel than it was on ITV2 on Sundays. But then they scheduled the film against the Six Nations rugby which is too stupid to put into words. *facepalm*

So a cheap made-for-TV film on Five beat a big Hollywood blockbuster on Four.

Embarrassing for them. Probably the clearest evidence yet that Hostages is dragging down Four on a Saturday night.

That might be good for the BBC but is it for television in general? The two main channels should be pushing each other; not the lead commercial broadcaster laying down and giving the lead PSB broadcaster an easy ride.
