I also followed the link to Abbington's twitter, and she there calls the spoilerperson for "****".

Which I think is not so classy. But what do I know. I had to google tumblr to know what that was, and I am not really any smarter now (but maybe better informed)

Well, the DS forum clearly think the word is awful too, so I rest my case

How can predictions be spoilers, when it comes from people who has not seen the episode? I think Mary will die, and that she is a bad'un.

Is that a spoiler?

And why was Lestrade's hair in the first episode (this season) completely salt, but is now salt and pepper? He dyed part of it?

My money would be on Sherlock dying but being resurrected by John.
Remember the leitmotif in 'Sign' that John was the man who could save lives ?

Moffat loves to kill main characters ... and then reveal it was a all a fake , he did it loads on DW and he's done it several times here .

which is why I never believed Moriarty was dead .

I agree. I thought Amanda's choice of bad language (two words wasn't it?) didn't endear me to her at all tbh.

Apparently Sue Vertue and Mark Gatiss have also tweeted a spoiler.

I came across a post elsewhere last night which apparently gave the whole storyline away for episode 3. It was quickly deleted which makes me think it was the real version. *sigh* Serves me right, though, for looking in the first place.

Uh-oh! This arouses my suspicions once again, having never watched Dr Who.

It will be interesting to discover what the live Q&A session with Gatiss and Moffat entails after tomorrow night's episode. Is anyone from here taking part in it?

I think these particular spoilers are coming from people who have seen the episode in advance.

^ A really nice interview with Lars Mikkelsen there.

*doesn't contain spoilers*

Thanks. I keep on tiptoeing back in here despite vowing not to, and hoping there aren't going to be any spoilers!!

I didn't know about this site on the bbc, so it was good to read all three of those interviews, plus the video interview with Steven Moffat/Mark Gatiss.

I don't know because I'm not on twitter or facebook, and I've no idea what "tumblr" is.

I assume a twitter handle would be something like our forum member names on here?

Thanks. And me neither. I only come across links that some people post from twitter and tumblr.

However, this post here from last night:

Hi guys, according to Amanda Abbington's twitter a "fan" on tumblr has given away the third episode. She's named the account in her tweets (CHIMPSINSOCKS) but I won't link to it because I don't want to go on tumblr and find it! She advised fans to stay away from tumblr if they don't want any spoilers
Well, there's an interview with Amanda Abbington in today's Times, which I can't link to as it's behind a paywall.

Anyway, during the interview, it says this:

"Today her great protector is Freeman, who sometimes wades in on Twitter to defend the jokes on @chimpsinsocks (Abbington’s Twitter handle) and declares their author “awesome” if she is having a hard time from Sherlock nuts. "

So does this mean that this chimp person is Amanda, and the storyline spoiler is a load of tosh?

No - chimpsinsocks isn't the tumblr account, I think the poster was just including that for reference to Amanda's twitter. The (now deleted) blog is named in one of Amanda's tweets.

Oh, I see. Thanks.

Apologies to Amanda for my doubts there.

i looked and the account with the spoilers has been deleted...maybe i should be happy about that cause i have little self control and would have read them so at least it will be a suprise for me tomorrow lol
In this day and age, what with leaks for TV show finales coming out, if I was a maker of a TV show I'd probably arrange for false leaks to come out that appear like real leaks.

^ Ha.

Oh dear. I'm going to have to stop looking at and thinking about stuff otherwise I'll be worn out before the episode even starts. Don't want to be falling asleep in the middle of it either.

It's quite interesting that Amanda informs her followers that there's a post on TUMBLR which spoils the final epsiode, and then gives the username to look for....but then says don't look.

It's like saying whatever you do, don't think of a black cat.

If you don't want anybody to have a look for that spoiler then wouldn't you simply not inform anybody and not mention it at all?

Sounded like docks and that are what I saw.

Yes. I looked at links to those tweets too.

Exactly what I was thinking at the time.

We should get Sherlock on the case.

But really, I'm NOT going to think about anything any more lol.

Oh if that's the word then I saw it.
Yes, I too couldn't resist going straight to Amanda's account to have a peek.

Unfortunately even though that account she names has been deleted, you can still tell one thing which was mentioned due to what's in one of the titles in the replies that responded to it.

I hope that Moffat threw out a massive red herring there to deliberately mislead people. But that is wishful thinking on my part.

That's either incredibly stupid, or a deliberate derailment.
I'm guessing it's the latter, and I can see what you mean about the writers/actors temptation to throw false leads out there on the net, but I think they ought to be careful playing games like that.

Do it too often, and no-one will believe a word anymore of whatever you say in future interviews, people will just go "Yeah, whatever". Which is a tad counterproductive!

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the BAFTA Q&A will be released after his last vow airs? Will a video or transcript of it be released? I'd be really interested to hear what the cast and crew have to say about it.
