Don't expect these people to actually have read the books. They just want to slag it off.

Sherlock should not have killed Magnusson.
Mary could have died without any problem IMO; the original Watson was married more than once. Sherlock is not a super human like in Dr Who; he should not have committed murder and immediately been invited back to save England. There was nothing superhuman in this episode at all. |

How do we know Sherlock killed Magnassun? Did anyone see any body or a bullet hole in the head?

Yes I remember that time he took the helicopter trips in the book, well ahead of its time.

I take it that lindsay Duncan's character chair's the Parliamentary Committee that oversees the Intelligence services.
I hope she is back next series |

Well it will be interesting to see how they bring Moriarty back if that was him on the roof.
People will be chatting for another two years now. |

Looking forward to Magnusson making a shock return at the end of Series 4.
(not a spoiler, just inevitable) |

So you didn't like it then?
And people who are now saying "ooh I wonder how they'll explain Moriarty's death" I don't know why you think they will bother, they will just expect you to believe it was possible in 1 of 13 different ways and get over it. |

Magnusson was a bit crap: all the information stored in a mind. Well duh! I wonder how the authorities can ensure the archives are totally destroyed?
Kill Magnusson! Wow what a genius idea.

If Appledore was such a threat to everyone why didn't they just send James Bond (government assassin) in to take Magnusson out?

Series 3 as a whole for me was nowhere near the heights of the first 2 season.
Bit dissapointed really. Still a fan of the show as a whole though

Sorry if it's been raised already, but...
what was that fleeting reference by Mycroft to their 'other brother'? |

The trouble with Sherlock is that it thinks it's clever and spends every waking moment telling you it is, including when it isn't on. Do you remember when Sherlock Holmes actually solved crimes rather then being the cause of them?
