Abzz On Bbbots
white tigress

Gosh, how LOVELY was Abz on the show?? Voice of reason, funny, wise & witty!! Just shows how fast CBB's deteriorated when this year's bunch behave so 'vilely' in first 5 days!! Also, he makes Dappy seem like Ali G in comparison. Abz should be on the panel MORE--he was so insightful!

I have a lot of time for him. I was particularly impressed when he was clear that Lee was his friend, but didn't blindly stick up for him and make excuses.

I had expected him to go on the last series and act like Dappy Doo has acted this time around. I was quite hoping Dappy would surprise me just like Abz did. Don't quite see that happening at this point.

Don't get why people make such a big thing in the way he speaks, if that's him than it's him. It's what he's comfortable with and he knows more than all of us about who he is inside.

A long time ago i used to be called a "wannabe" or worse for speaking in a stereotypical "black accent" but it's what i knew and what i was comfortable with, in my area was gangs and i went to school with mostly black people where that language and way of speaking was common.

I wasn't trying to be anything it's just who i was at that time. I don't speak like that any longer because my influences and surroundings have all changed but that doesn't change who i was at that specific time in my life.

Abz seems like a genuine and caring guy, the way he speaks/communicates is hardly important as long as one can understand him, it's who he is that matters.

And yet Lee's a "legend"... I can well believe you'd miss the finer points of Abz.

He said more on BBOTS last night, than the time he was on CBB

Lee nails fine fanny=legend. Abz pretends to be Jamaican.

I can't help but disagree that either of those things have happened.

If you're comparing Abz & Dappy for their Ali G impressions, I'd say Abz wins easily.

Abz keeps up 'da West Staines Massive', vibe 24 hours a day, whereas Dappy slips in & out of it without realising.

To be fair, Abz has been doing it longer though.

I give him credit with learning the script.

Love Abz. Loved him on that big reunion show. Seeing how he left it all for a life in the country growing veg and having chickens etc He's lovely. Also quite insightful as another poster said. Cool guy.

Well said - I don't get why people pick on Abz accent - he really does talk like that all the time. He is a smashing bloke and came across very well on BBOTS and I hope we see more of him.

The attire is part of his 'image',

I would imagine he wore the beanie to hide his bald head.

He either wore a cap or a hair piece in the house or promotional shots, so he's obviously has a thing about his hair loss.

I agree. What I've noticed is people complain about the 'boring' people winning or getting far in the show and then this series you've got people having fun and people still complain.

I find Abz very intriguing as a person, it seems strange but I could sit and watch him for hours and, for me at least, he epitomises what the show was about, a social experiment on how people interact with others. I connect more with people like Abz, who may not have been shown to have said much in the house but still showed he was a decent person, than I do Carol McGiffin, Charlotte, Denise Welch.

For some reason, people can't seem to get past his accent.

That might have more to do with the fact that he didn't.

None of what you said made any sense. Abz didn't win. How could you forget ? it was only a few months ago, it just shows how much attention you pay. And what the hell is BBOTS ?
