Why is Schofield always so smug and irritating

Perhaps it is just me and mine but whenever we see Schofield on TV we feel uncomfortable. He always seems so smug and often almost, if not actually, rude to competitors.

Does he perhaps suffer from the FForsyth syndrome and think that the show is about him rather than the skaters - and the Judges

No definitely not just you. He's unbearable.

I' m not bothered by him. So perhaps a more pertinent question is why do some find him smug and irritating, while others don' t.

I like him.
I think he is a great presenter.
I will add him to my list on the 'who over 50 would you bonk' thread

I am thinking it may be personal circumstances why he is the way he is, then again it could be his boss that has told him off and he takes it out on others. Like bruce gets told off as they reckon he's not being humorous enough, Philip has by the look of things a boss who doesn't get on with him very well.

His hands are very tied and at the moment it appears that he's in the wrong job to be honest.

He is a strange one. He kept on giving Jason filthy looks. Was it for affect or do they not like each other.

Really? Oh well, each to her (or his) own!

I agree with those who find him smug, and his chemistry with Christine is non-existent. More watchable than BF for me, but not much!

he's got presenting roles of This Morning, DOI, The Cube and All Star Mr & Mrs

I doubt there is any conflict with anyone, in fact its the opposite - he thinks everybody loves him!

Pretty sure his Twitter among other things will have assured him otherwise.

Oh no - nowadays is you are a critic on twitter or anywhere else, you're a bully. Schofe and his fellow personality free style of celeb are only there to be loved and adored

He has this really smug grin in every single photo of him too. I don't know whether to hate or admire the guy.

He gets worse by the year but I saw the change when he started using Twitter the guy seems to use that place as backup if he ever hears something he doesn't like.

He started on This morning really good but when Fern left he became unbearable. They wont ever accept it but I personally feel that's why DOI lost its way they needed new presenters when Holly Left he is just in complete overkill on ITV.
