Projectors
I would LOVE a cheapish LCD projector to watch films on. Is there a good source for these sorts of things? Even used would be fine. I know new they rarely cost less than £1000 but is there anywhere you can buy them for a few hundred?
Any suggestions appreciated. Schooly |

Sorry no real suggestions apart from trying to find any local dealers that trade in second hand gear and see if they have taken any projectors as part exchange. I have had a projector now for a few years (bought brand new) and I don't use it as much as I used to but I still like to watch films with it when it's dark enough in the room (no curtains). I was thinking about selling it recently but when I watch it I remember why I bought it (MASSIVE PICTURE).

www.avforums.com - LCD digital projectors...
You might want to look at the Panasonic AE100.... have a look at the screenshots people are posting and their comments. There's a lot of info on that forum so its worth taking the time to decide on what you want. Large screen home cinema does'nt have to cost a fortune, I run a 114" screen and my mates reckon the picture quality is just as good as the cinema yet my total outlay has been about £1400 in total (including custom home made screen!) RPTV's suck compared to digital projectors! James |
