Linda has obviously had a problem with Jim since before the show started as she mentioned him negatively before she even knew he was going in. She has lasted a few days but her prejudices are starting to show and she is testing support for her position against Jim in the house by bad mouthing him in front of various female audiences.

She tried to ambush him last night and was baiting him whilst surrounded by a bunch for people she felt were on her side at the time and Jim walked away. You could tell she was obviously baiting him because as he walked away she was making comments to try to get him to come back and re-engage in the conversation because Linda felt in a secure position with plenty of people supporting her. Jim played it extremely well by refusing to engage in a battle he could not win because he would have been shouted down.

Luisa is easily my favourite. She has no chance of winning, sadly.

As soon as JD and Linda walked into the house they asserted themselves as the house Mum and Dad with the Kids. If you remember the discussion on the bed with Linda pulling 'Mum' rank on Luisa when Linda told Luisa off - and even 'smacked' her - for being a "bitch", Luisa more or less told her to "**** off" - not directly but it was a very interestingly nuanced convo.

Luisa is possibly the only younger female in the household who doesn't defer to Linda's age / seniority. Taking a swipe at her age is perhaps one way to undermine Linda's self-defined role and hence position of power / authority as house Mother within the group?

I'm glad somebody is challenging Linda's self-bestowed authority. Luisa won't take s*** from anyone, least of all from the manipulative mother bitch. I hope we soon see confrontation between Luisa and Linda.

I'm not sure this is a compliment. Luisa creates a lot of misery by her constant need to undermine and, far from 'saying it like it is', switches stance constantly (unless of course she's having a go at someone who's vulnerable in the group).

Who is challenging Linda Luisa certainly isn't. She bitched about her in a sexist way to make Jim feel at home presumably. She has only been supportive of Linda to her face.

Linda's arms are possibly as a result of her cancer. If she has had her lymph nodes removed then she may have a form of lymphoedema.
