I love Louisa and I didn't think she stood a chance either but now that she has shown her caring side she may well be in with a chance!!!

Watch Linda she also talks over people, she did on last nights highlights, she didn't allow anyone to talk until she thought fit.

They were cuffed together for 2/3 days, why didn't she approach the subject then?

I don't know personally what Jim is capable of, he comes over as an OK guy to me, and seemed genuinely puzzled as to why Linda turned on him.

I thought it was Linda who said to him "you don't like me" I don't think he said that.

People get jeered at both on here and indeed the house for a variety of things.

Whether it be a 'short-arse chav', someone who speaks in 'Jafakin', 'plastic surgery sluts', 'ugly slappers', 'terrible mothers' or washed up has-been 80's comedians.

I don't see how just one demographic (in this case older woman) should get any special dispensation if I'm honest.

If people are going to slate people on a reality tv show for stuff, let it be all or nothing surely.

If you look up 'menopause' I guarantee you will find that one of the things that happen to many (but not all) women at this time is mood changes and emotional instability. The reason is that their hormones are out of balance (oestrogen levels go down)

Many take HRT because of these and other side effects. but it would not be prescribed for someone who has had breast cancer.

Apart from randomly telling people to 'f' off I suppose you're right.

Eff me - Luisa must be having the menopause too - the way she took Liz's head off over the shopping list They do say some women 'start' earlier than others. It all makes sense now.

Using menopausal as an insult, as Luisa did, is quite a cheap shot. Still, not quite as pathetic as Katie Hopkins' insults.

I was joking about current sexual tension, but I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have fancied her in the past and wonder if it's something along those lines.

Well, my aunt went through it at 28 and my mate at 30, so you never know.

Maybe she likes to wear crowns in her spare time.

Coleen said there was an incident in a club in Blackpool years ago but didn't say what happened..... Anyway the bugger drove straight over a zebra crossing in his Rolls Royce when he was pissed and nearly knocked me over too so I still need words with him.

She is Lady Zissman -- her husband bought her a title.

At the risk of sounding patronising, someotimes people will have a little nickname for others/ Let's look at People's Princess as just one other example.

I can't of course speak for the OP, but I'm pretty sure no one actually thinks she is the Queen or indeed that she is a Queen of some other nation. I'd have a bet it's a term of endearment towards a housemate who the OP highly approves of. It causes no harm and is of course their right to post as they feel on an internet forum. You have the same rights of course.

In a nutshell, really nothing to get worked up about.

Hmmm, interesting.

Are you the next surprise housemate? Give us a wave when you're on.

Well I don't deny there can be symptoms such as those you describe or hot flushes etc but my point is that these are not visible to the world at large.

I have run a number of large service centres and at any one time must have managed 25 or more women in their 40's and 50's. Many of them must have been going through menopause and I have never once observed discernible mood swings or emotional instability in these ladies. For all I know they might be experiencing such feelings but if they were they didn't mention it and it certainly didn't show so I never had reason to ask.

One can't help but yearn for more original nicknames though; we have a Queen and/or King every year, it seems.

Also, on a more serious note - I cannot, for the life of me, understand why people land on a favourite from day one and Will. Not. Be. Moved.

LOL I really don't think happened.

It doesn't take much to rile Linda, Jim walking away last night obviously annoyed her, so I doubt it he did anything major in the past for her to bare a grudge, she comes over as one of those people who must be obeyed if you want a quiet life, only Jim don't give a to$$, he will stomach her for a few more days or a week, all he will be interested in is his pay cheque.

I find myself agreeing with you yet again patsylimerick, this time both on the nicknames for housemates and those who have a favourite from the start that they can not be budged from.

Just saw this. I have never claimed to be any age, actually. I think you'll find Penny Crayon came to some sort of conclusion and decided to personally attack me. It's really petty tbh. Instead of insulting me based on my supposed "age", why not just ask me how old I am?
