Adding insult to injury,

"It's Casey's fault because she was hurt and cried and made him look bad"

By the stars! You couldn't make this stuff up!

Yeah, it didn't have anything to do with Lee's actions making him look bad, take the blame off of him and blame it all on Casey for not allowing Lee to be a jerk and accepting it.

And then Lee acting like he's the victim and did nothing in the bolthole. He hasn't even learned anything after all of this.

Lee, Dappy and Jasmine and whoever else in there who supports them are so unbelievably slimy, and cretinous... sleazeballs and neanderthals.

Twisting his words; how sad. Any opportunity taken to hate Dappy

NOBODY is a victim. Casey said on numerous occasions Lee is not her type then when he kisses Jasmine suddenly she really liked him. Get over it.

Yes.
I hope Casey actually saw that convo and has a word with the massive appendage when she goes back in.

Noone's words are being twisted except Casey's, she said he isn't normally her type but that she's liking him and liking spending time with him, etc.

She is the victim, she didn't imaginarily make up all the ways in which Lee led her own, used her out of convenience and then dropped her at the first chance for someone else right in front of her, and Dappy is shameful in trying to make it out like Casey is the one to blame, he and Lee are complete neanderthals.

He probably had a point. All that crying over someone she's only known for five minutes was way over the top. Even when she knew what had happened she was still giving him hugs.

She's a sucker for punishment .

We're observing group dynamics, and human behavior... what happens outside of the house is neither here or there, the point is.. we observed a group dynamic between a male and Female, and it's a scenario where a person shouldn't be treated in such a way. It's despicable to show such a lack of empathy and care for another the way Lee has done, he used her as if she was an object of convenience with no care or empathy.

It's possible he's a sociopath or narcissist [definitely a neanderthal] the way he still hasn't seen any fault in his behavior or care in how she was treated to the point of playing himself the victim and turning it back on her.

So, that's it? If everyone had that attitude what would the world be, no care, or empathy, or sympathy for others.. stuff happens so let everyone treat people horribly, and don't care and accept it because stuff happens.

This stuff might not happen, if there was a different attitude applied to the situation. Not just accepting him treating her like an object of convenience and garbage means that behavior and dynamic can actually change.

"Stuff happens" is the attitude that got us here in the first place, where some devolved neanderthal feels he has the right to treat someone like an object of convenience, and without any care, sensitivity or empathy, and it should just be accepted and not made a fuss over, well.. not happening Slimy Lee, not happening on this or any other day.

i was annoyed too when he started implying it was casey's fault but i guess i should've expected it from someone like dappy. i'd been trying to keep an open mind about him until he hit on jasmine whilst she was falling about drunk.

and i don't see that it makes any difference how casey genuinely felt towards lee, she could've forgiven him on the spot and i'd still think he's a selfish, sexist, attention seeking moron. i keep seeing this bizarre argument that casey wasn't madly in love with lee therefore she has no right to feel personally insulted by his behaviour. it's just insane.

Yeah, exactly,
...and the amount of effort put in to rationalizing Casey somehow being at fault is astounding.

Even if it was a short time, if she isn't in love with him... it comes down to how you treat someone, to empathy.. to some decency and respect.. all of which slimy Lee has failed miserably at.

Casey was trying to get her own kind of mileage out of it for sure. "Girl next door been done wrong, come on all you voting girls, you can relate to this can't you."

People always seem to have great difficulty seeing anything other than black and white. He is 100% baddie, she is 100% victim. Well human interactions just ain't like that. Both parties are biting and clawing for the upper hand, in their own ways.

Nappy's still a little tosser though.

I hope you are that passionate for real issues like stopping Monsanto controlling the world's food supply and patenting natural seeds.

I think that Dappy probably paid very little attention to what was going on with Lee, Casey and Jasmine as it didn't involve him. He wasn't involved at all with any of it - wasn't on the space ship, hasn't been hanging around with the three of them as he's not been seen in any of the clips or scenes with any of them in. I get the feeling that with Dappy it's really all about Dappy, that he's probably not paying much attention to anybody else unless it gets him airtime.

Based purely on what we are seeing of course, he may be sitting chatting to all the HMs and asking them about themselves, their lives, having great conversations with them, but we haven't seen that so - from what we are seeing - he doesn't come over as very interested or aware of the others that much.

That's a fair analysis imo.
At the same time, him not even knowing what's been going on and where he goes with it is to blame Casey, speaks volumes. That's where his head went. Not to care that she was crying, that she might've been hurt, or have empathy with her but to somehow rationalize how she's the blame for Lee's reception by the public for being that way.
Not to mention, adding in the crowd's reaction to all of that and one would think in your head, the thought just might cross your mind in thinking, "ok maybe Lee wasn't right" but it didn't even seem from my perception that was even a consideration. It's literally like getting in a time machine and going back to the caveman period and getting a glimpse of what two cavemen would be like.

Behold! Dappy and lee in all their splendor.

bib .. back in time to last week you mean (with regard to some male attitudes to women ) Sexism is alive and well, I don't think you need to go back as far as caveman times

ETA: I agree with the rest of your post As you say, a bit of awareness and thought would get him thinking that perhaps the crowd know something.
