iPhone and three - preventing it switching masts?

I have a really annoying problem where during a call i think my phone is switching masts.

I'm within range of 2 masts, main one being a decent signal, second being a very weak signal and i get no signal from it in certain places in my house.

During a call i can occasionally start getting break ups in quality and it never recovers and usually fails. I can't even hear the other person. Looking at my phone the signal has dropped to 1 bar. When i began the call it was 3 bars.

I am therefore assuming it switched to this other cell tower for some reason. Is there any way i can stop this happening on my iPhone?

thanks
