I've just watched The Fires of Pompeii, having watched it numerous times and only just realised Karen Gillen is in it! With Peter Capaldi in it too we may get more of the cast in the future!

knew this and have more than once wondered if moffat loves this episode on the basis that he seems to use it for casting inspiration

Only just spotted Karen Gillen was in it (while watching it last night) and that was only because I spotted her name in the credits.
(mmm need to bring back the 'roll eyes' smillie) Then rewound and found her.
