I find it quite funny that the person that Lionel sits with and integrates with because the younger people don't know how to interact with him, that he votes the only one who communicates with him.

What a laugh.

I really do not like Lionel Blair, i dont give a shite how much BBBOTS say what a "sweet lovely Grandad type" he is, i dont believe it, all i see is a name dropping bitchy attention seeker who hates not being in the limelight..

I think he wants to be the ONLY oldie in the village. Why would he choose Jim as a choice rather than all those other pesky horrors that are so beneath his generation?

I don't know how I stand on Jim or Linda except that I know both have history of sorts.

I had hopes when chained together that they'd reach some kind of solution for the show.....i.e. agree to be the parents to everyone else.

Imagine my disappointment when that wasn't so.

I'm on neither side, but still hope by the end of the show that both can help each other in their own ways.

Alas, it's never going to happen on a show like this where they just want fast action, fast reactions....and fake as hell editing to get their show going.

Anyway....best of luck to both of them with their demons.

I thought it was funny because it was the last thing I'd have expected.

I wasn't expecting that either.
I found it funny that Lionel seems to be coming over as wanting to be , the only seasoned veteran in the house.

Sure. If Grand-dad was a complete w@nk#r, then Lionel fits.

ooooh Lionel, I was surprised - perhaps its all about top dog in showbiz from ye days of olde in da house, only room for one, with a catalogue of monologues of stories from the past - personally I'd prefer Lionel out and Jim stay out the two ! but what a shocker !!!!

I remember Lionel Blair when he was on that reality show... The Farm.

He was the most stubborn obnoxious person ever. I was shocked as I always watched him on TV and thought he was great. His behaviour and attitude on the farm totally changed my mind about him.

People say Jim is hiding his true self which is poss the case, but Lionel is also. He really was horrible on that other show.

I feel he voted for him because he didn't want to vote for anyone he think may be popular with the younger viewers. Maybe he thinks the younger viewers will turn on him if he voted for one of their own.

It was an asshole thing to do though, whatever the reason.

Yep, I saw him on that as well.

He had the mother of all tantrums one night with a hosepipe, and was objectionable nearly every day.

^This. My goodness the scales fell from my eyes with that nomination. And Jim was spot on with his assessment of Linda Nolan.

I really hope the producers show Lionel Blair, as he really is no cover up's as im sure they would not think twice about showing the bad side of Jim if he slips up.

I didnt like Jim before he went into the house, but he seems ok at the moment(early days i know) but Linda i think is not nice at all , and she made sure the others knew she did not like Jim and it was a way of getting him nominated im sure as they all said they got on with him, yet all those who was around Linda when she was spouting off nominated him, coincidence? i think not...

He was and I also remember the hosepipe incident. He was just really obnoxious and had a really nasty streak. I was really shocked to see him act that way.

I really want Linda out before Jim. She is awful.

I suspected he was a sneaky old git from the start, and I wasn't wrong. He's obviously threatened by Jim... Jim is more interesting in every way. He has opinions, he enjoys debate and he's upfront. Lionel is just a name dropping has-been who needs a reality check.
