The fake screen effect is so cheap

Whenever they show the screen that Casey and Lee are watching they always insert a filmed clip, so obvious and fake and it makes the programme look cheap. Has anyone else noticed?

YES, i am so happy someone else mentioned this.

Yesterday when Lee moved his head, the screen went through his head.

They do this on a lot of shows, it's annoying

Haven't noticed but will keep an eye out. Why do they do that?

It might be because the tv screen will look weird on camera, i'm not too sure.

Not a technical expert but I think because it is a monitor as such, the filming of it would show the monitor screen with a stripe rotating from bottom to top.

How can they show what they are watching and their reaction at the same time? I assume they slip the picture on the screen by a few seconds or to match whatever scene is cut together with the bolt hole.

I think it would flicker too much.

Yeah, it is because there is a difference in the scanning frequency between what is being shown on their TV screen and the camera that is filming it. I don't know why they bother filming it. They go to extreme efforts to show the screen's reflection on the mirror behind them too.

Doesn't that apply to CRT TV's only

It's the refresh rate (per second) that causes the 'flicker'
