I agree with you Trish. He didn't seem to have very much to say during his time in there, but when he did, he managed to offend both the gay community and the disabled community in just one comment and animal lovers in another. He is so ignorant that he won't even be able to begin to grasp just how offensive those two statements were.

Yet he only received two norms

OT - but is tonight the first time that a man has been evicted first? I know it's never happened in the regular BB, not sure about CBB though.

That's probably because his homophobic views were made during a late-night bedtime chat between just him and Luisa, for which he (quite rightly imo) later received a warning in the DR.

As far as I am aware, Luisa has not repeated that private conversation between them to any of the other HM's, so they are all blissfully ignorant of what he said and therefore couldn't use that as a reason to nominate him if they so wished.

The horse-punching comment came well after the nominations had been made, so again, none of the other HM's could have used that reason to nominate him either.

The rest of the time he appeared mute, bored rigid and didn't seem to be integrating much in the house, but the other HM's obviously overlooked him when making their nominations, apart from the two who did nominate him.

Let's face it, Evander never bothered to learn anyone's name, and apparently he didn't pull his weight with the housework. He was full of himself.

I know right.

How many questions did he dodge tonight so as not to have to dredge up a name from his punch drunk brain.

I don't think Lionel gave him a second glance but was all over Lee like a rash

I thought it was a pretty poor show by the HMs. Over the years we've seen some pretty awful HMs get better send-offs than Evander. TBF after seeing him on BOTS he did look relieved to be out of the house but, nevertheless the others could have at least waited until he was gone before whooping and cheering Casey and BlahBlahBlah.

I was mortified that almost everyone focused on Lee and Casey's return rather than Evanders eviction. From what I saw, the only person that came out of it with any dignity was Dappy and as a result he has soared in my estimation. As for Lee and Casey, they would have been aware that they were walking back into the house just prior to Evanders actual eviction and I was so disappointed, yet not surprised, that neither of them thought of Evander's feelings of rejection. Both of them just wallowed in and indulged themselves in their own glee. The whole scene demonstrated precisely what I believe is wrong with British society nowadays - ME! ME! ME!

On the very first CBB, the one won by Jack Dee, Chris Ewbank was out first, and a couple of series ago Andrew Stone was first to be voted out.

I was gobsmacked at the rudeness of so many HMs there.
Forget Lee & Casey, they are two idiots anyway but the general rule is to flock round the evictee and make a fuss of them. VERY bad form focusing on saggy trousers and his squeeze.

They are celebrities, they are all used to being the centre of the universe.

BB is to blame. Of course they (Casey & Lee) were going to be elated at returning, lets face it, they're not exactly the sharpest so probably not even aware... Or it may just be that they didn't want to face "the champ" after just giving him his marching orders...

Evander didn't exactly seek out many for goodbyes either. (probably because he doesn't know their names though)

Exactly.
You'd have thought their first port of call would've been the evicted housemate with the appropriate apologies......but no !!!

ME! ME! ME! All the way.

I don't think its because they are thick they behave the way they do- although most of them are intellectually challenged - I feel that they are just so self absorbed that they don't consider anyone but themselves, everything in their eyes is about them and that's why there are so many pathetic arguments and sniping and why they behaved so badly tonight

If it does, that shows to me that he is quite two faced seeing as he was going on about "how you can't treat people like that", meaning Lee when he got evicted and went out to boos.

Did Lionel say goodbye to Evander as well?

Oh so no ones wanting to take control of the kitchen this series like there normally is? I get really irked with excuses like this to have a go at someone. It is not often I see any house mates in any series going round cleaning either unless BB makes them!

As for you calling him punch drunk, I think thats out of order too. I bet he's achievd more and earned more money than you ever will!

HEY LETS LOOK AT THE GOOD NEWS THOUGH! LEE WILL BE THE FIRST HOUSE MATE TO GO OUT TWICE BEING BOOED!!!!

I doubt he's done much to help him and his fellow "band mates" out of their perilous finacial situations either and I don't think he deserves much success after this either.

Indeed and Jasmine too as she at least gave Evander the courtesy of a goodbye.

I think they were embarrassed and I don't blame them. Clearly someone had to go and they had to choose but their choice was hardly laboured

According to Luisa the Dapster is chief pot washer in the house and doing it to make people like him.

She seems to have been on his case after she thought the public had voted him as most fake house mate. How stupid is she feeling now that they all know Lee/Casey voted for him as a laugh?

Also isn't Jim supposed to be all over the kitchen this year? Its hard to tell who's doing what thanks to hardly any live feeds! Why hasn't C5 gone for the live feeds anyone?

I don't think Evander understood the Big Brother concept at all. From what he was saying to Emma and Ryland he seemed to think he was going to be a "big brother" figure to younger folk in a kind of mentoring role. I doubt if he knows anything about the "1984" true origin of the Big Brother project at all. No wonder he was bewildered when handcuffed etc. Not fair really.

Luisa made a few good points but the 'you're just up everyones arse, always doing the washing up to make people like you' seemed slightly weak. It's good to know he's mucking in, I thought he'd think that was womans work
