So far he has proved himself to possess the conversational articulation of an uneducated, unruly child. He clearly has not mastered the art of debate or even conversation, as he likes to think. Maybe because they are raised by a more liberal parent they won't have the same attitude as someone who isn't. Also your mum is your mum and the fact that they love and care for you tends to be more important than judging them for most people.
