He seems to have, as I argued elsewhere, arguably a form of sociopathy (admittedly a mild form), and so what we think of as "self awareness" was an illusion. Or rather it might be more accurate to say he's ONLY aware of himself, and the effect of his actions on other people is inherently beyond his ability to understand (or care), except through the lens of very visual reactions by other people (which he inherently thinks of as over-reactions).

We might also refer to it as being "tone deaf". Something emotional has to be over-the-top for him to even notice it, and it's not usually something he can understand when he sees it.

I don't think Lee is that bad, he's stupid for sure and at times annoying like last night when he returned to the house. Not sure about his ego, I don't think he's confident in himself IMO, he needs to man up.

Yes, it's quite a shock that there are so many threads criticising someone for being a dick.

He has a massive ego imo - doesn't mean he's always confident. I'd say I agree with another FM who said he was narcissistic. All he can see is himself - how he's feeling, peoples' perception of him, how someone else's actions affect him and him alone etc etc.
Unfortunately I think another poster was right when they said he won't learn anything from his experience in the house. He'll just think it's other peoples' fault.

Lee is confident but also insecure in himself .
He just wants to be loved by someone an misses that feeling an likes the feeling of someone loving him.
He's very sensitive , Lee seems like he's just afraid of relationships since his last one ended.

yeah, it's been really hard for him, no-one understands, he is the first person in the world ever to have a relationship end
