Disgusting behaviour
Dontswear

Call me old fashioned but people on this show have no self respect. Their behaviour with each other is obscene. Their conversation is too.

I think it is time Channel 5 put some limits in place as to how people behave in public. They are well aware they are being watched 24/7.

And, the language is abhorrent - bring back the bleeper.

I only watch programs that are obscene with abhorrent language. I think we need more of them.

I get the impression that this type of show might not be for you.

Totally agree with your comment. The swearing, lewdness and sex talk is sickening. Also the fact that the contestants seem to think this type of behaviour wins votes! There is something really un nerving about how debase and sordid this series of CBB has become. I've thought from the start that particularly Luisa has been revolting in her remarks about sex parties and sex acts and general lewdness. Although shes quite popular on here I don't think the wider public agree - hence her being in the bottom two last night. She has a little girl at home - it makes my skin crawl that as a mother she thinks its' fine to behave the way she does......

Watch a wildlife documentary instead. I think it would be more up your street. Bleeping words is more annoying than hearing how people really talk. You're old fashioned!

Disgusting behaviour? Depends on what each person's definition of 'disgusting' is?

Big Brother is a reality television programme which is known and designed to be provocative. Intially it was a 'social experiment' but as time has gone on it has become a place to mix some of the most provocative personalities in one room ...wind them up ...step back and watch the fireworks go off.

Surely we all know that programme makers are looking for a 'shock' reaction? The producers have 24hrs to cherry pick into an hour every evening.

Every series of BB it is either too boring, drab and like watching paint dry OR it is too provocative, too daring and too risque....so where is the middle ground? In my eyes it would seem that producers can't win either way. For me, I prefer the provocative CBB, it entertains me in an otherwise dismal January!

I think each year is getting worse, ch5 trying to claim ratings by shock tactics, I don't think we need to see or hear some things when we got lots house mates to choose to view

I think the OP is referring to the BB Team watching them 24/7

It's not so much that I mind seeing any of the stuff that they show......

And there is one of the problems, they don't take advantage of that, which is why we often see repeats of the same clips on more than one night.

And this is another problem, they seem to think that this is the only way to get good ratings.

This is because of the way that the show has evolved, but....

And that last comment sums it up. There are too many people now that believe that "provocative" or "sex" is the only way we are entertained. Once you've seen some things a couple of times, repeats get boring. The producers lost the plot several series back.
As a result we see very little of some of the HMs and never discover what they are really like.
For example, it seems Evander was not a very nice person, is he still like that? (punching the horse) - I'm not talking about his opinions particularly, he's entitle to think what he likes but perhaps that shouldn't translate to words or actions. I would like to have to seen more of him to find out, but he's gone now.

There are plenty of other posts around this forum complaining about not seeing enough of HMs such as Liz and Sam for example - the impression we'd so far been given of them was altered somewhat by last night's brief live streaming. I'd certainly like to find out more about them, but no doubt we shall be subjected to more of the lewd goings-on, more of the same bitching from Linda etc. As I've already said, more of the same gets very boring after a while. There's no reason the programme can't move back towards a social experiment a touch.

I hate wildlife programmes, especially about big cats. Just when you are admiring them they dismember a struggling zebra. I mean who would want to watch the other housemates gnawing on Dappy's leg?

Context is all in these matters. I DID think that was a bit annoying, because the context was absolutely zero. Jasmine was just pissed and fancied being annoying. Sticking a finger up and barking "fingerbanging!" when other people are sitting quietly in the garden is not really a brilliant conversational tactic.

Don't feel sorry for me, I do go out quite a lot. But only to obscene locations with much abhorrent language.
