The question was divide 50 by a half and then add 25. If you divide by a half you're actually multiplying by 2. I don't like Dappy but just thought I'd point that out.
Anyone who watched him take part in the pre-show quiz will have seen that he hardly knows what day it is, thick doesn't cover it. He probably has difficulty spelling his real name.

Not sure about A* but the fact they were getting C's when they didn't try at all and hadn't a clue suggests if you put in a bit of effort then it wouldn't be too hard.

If someone has a low IQ then they may be less capable of appreciating the subtleties of an argument or situation and a cleverer person may be bored of trying to make them understand the point. After a while you might be tempted to just tell them that they 'aren't getting it' because they are thick and walk away. It might be a bit rude and tactless but it's not unreasonable.
