The cheapest data deal I have ever seen.

Vodafone Pre-Loaded 250MB SIM Card from Currys-PC World for just 1p. Use the pre-loaded data, throw away and insert another!

(EE SIM deal is similar but with 200MB of data pre-loaded for 1p)

1 GB of data for 5p or less!

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/broadb...63340-pdt.html

3's 1 GB SIM only is 100 times more at £4.99 presently!

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/broadb...c+Phones+%2f+M

Stock available in various UK locations. (Found using UK Hot Deals)

Enjoy!

Only in microSIM?
Various formats but there are plenty of cheap adaptors available on Amazon etc.....like 5 of them for 99p + 99p delivery..... (Blue ones are 79p + 99p delivery)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/IMPROVED-MIC...ro+sim+adapter

Or a Nano/Micro Converter pack (3 pieces) for 98p delivered!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/iPhone-Nano-...ref=pd_cp_ce_0

Problem Solved..... QED!!

Just Checked and Currys-PC World in East Kilbride has stock of the Vodafone SIMs to collect in-store.

"Currys East Kilbride
Howard Avenue
East Kilbride, G74 4ZA

In stock in store for Reserve & Collect
Reserve now and collect in store in one hour"

This store is just 9.3 miles from Glasgow City Centre.

East Kilbride and Bishopbriggs have stock of the EE 4G Combi SIM (Standard/Micro) with 200MB of pre-laoded data for 1p.

Nothing in stock anywhere, Ovivo gives you 1 gig a month rolling for free after an initial one off buying the card and that's on Vodafone. I'd rather just pay for unlimited data with calls texts and the works on a better network than Vodafone with better 3G coverage.

Thanks for letting us know though, could have been good if there were any in stock I may have got a bunch for my unlocked mifi. I currently have the Ovivo sim in and I haven't paid them anything for a years free usage since the initial sim fee.

Completely untrue!

Others have also confirmed that stock is available!

Maybe this does not suit the on-going 3 UK promotional effort by some but the fact is that you can get these and 250MB of data costs just 1p!

ok correction, a few stores have stock in the whole country. I tried my postcode and 50 miles around, then a birmingham postcode and 50 miles around and nothing.

"Reserve and Collect" on the website then call the store and send an SAE for delivery.

1 GB of 4G EE data for 5p + P&P still sounds like a good bargain!

Bristol Cribbs Causeway has EE4G 1p 200MB ones preloaded if anyone is interested, that's one of the only stores in the country to have any.

Not worth the petrol it would cost to collect for me.

What does "one of the only stores in the country" mean exactly?

First it was stated that there was "Nothing in stock anywhere"..... then " a few stores have stock in the whole country", now after two stores in Central Scotland have been identified with stock and another has stock in Bristol, it's a highly speculative " one of the only stores in the country to have any".

Wriggle Wriggle......

The FACT is stock has been found when it was clearly stated there was none!

I am sure most can search the Currys-PC World website for themselves and would be well advised to do so rather than pay attention to unreliable information like that highlighted above.

Bit of a waste of time to be honest. Plus they wouldn't do that anyway.

Oh stop being so argumentative, I wasn't being literal by saying nothing in stock anywhere, but most people won't find local stock in their area. If you type in a Birmingham postcode and then keep clicking the search stores further away button you'll see that virtually no stores have any stock of the 1p preloaded sims, only a handful of stores have them.

In 10 mins Cribs Causeway have sold out now the only store within 100 miles in Yeovil is Somerset for the EE4G 200MB preloaded sims.

It is a great tip and thanks for the post, but most sadly won't be able to get one as there's so few stores with any of them.
And of course some will do their best to make sure folks don't bother unless it happens to be an offer on the network they promote daily!

A sweeping statement made has been proved to be totally inaccurate.

No room required. I generally ignore certain folks but not when they post comments that are not truthful relating to information that could be of benefit to others.

It's very clear what was said by whom and what proved to be correct.

I'm happy to leave it at that and let folks check to see if they can get a bargain deal!

Oh don't be so silly, I mentioned Ovivo in this thread which gives you 1GB a month for free once you pay a small fee to buy the sim and that is widely available to everyone. I also posted where you can get the EE4G sims, Yeovil have them. I haven't yet found anywhere else in the country. You oddly decided to do a price comparison with Three in the opening post when obviously the Three ones aren't included in this 1p offer!

According to comments on UK Hot Deals that is NOT the case!

Read the latest comments on the website below to find out where people have found stock available.

See for yourself, put in B1 for Birminham, BS for Bristol or look in London and then click the button that allows you to search for stores further away, you can click this several times and it keeps looking further away.

So far I've found 2 stores with the EE 4G sim
Shrewsbury and Yeovil and that's after expanding right out from all sorts of places.

Worth a search for people but most stores don't have stock. Thank you for the link though as some will get a bargain.

To be clear. I don't need this deal personally as I have plenty of data allowance on 4G EE!

I could get a Vodafone SIM for 1p in East Kilbride (about 10 miles away) or an EE 4G SIM for 1p in either East Kilbride or Bishopbriggs (10 miles away). Then again a bargain isn't a bargain when you don't need it!

Why do some continue to dissuade people form trying to get what is a very good deal?

I hope the original information posted has been useful for some DS members.

Seems you're lucky as the vast majority can't get them for 50 miles or more around. Not dissuading just pointing out the limited stock availability and thanking you for the link which I've done 3 times. Some people will get a bargain, but most won't be able to get one looking on the availability checker.
