Smartphone + Tablet ARMs race = no Wintel tax?

Could it be that the fast transition to ever better high resolution hardware (in smartphones and tablets) have only been made possible by removal of the Microsoft+Intel tax+restrictions, them possibly taking 90%+ of those profits. Seemingly PC+laptop profits have long been below 3%. |
