BT Infinity Router/Modem - Nameservers
Hi all,
Just taken the plunge of ordering BT Infinity and have to use my own router at the moment as the Virgin Media Superhub does not allow you to set your own name servers. Can you set your own nameservers with the BT Infinity Router/Modem or is this restricted the same as it is with Virgin Media? |

I've not got infinity, but my home hub does not have the option to set the DNS.
But, if it is a computer, you could set the name servers on that instead. |

As long as you don't have BT TV, you can still use your own router with BT.
If it's a cable only router, then you just put the home hub into bridge mode and plug it into the WAN port of your cable router. |
