WTF. A totally obnoxious person, morally bankrupt and no redeeming qualities. Why?

Agree why?? Shes obviously hasnt hoodwinked the general population hence her being in the bottom two last night. Made my day!

I agree with you. It's baffling. On the other hand, I noticed when I was young that the bitchiest girls/women were also the most popular (with both men and women). It's obviously the same phenomenon

Gina was in the summer. DS (or a fair percentage of it) loves bitchy females.

Yet there are posts after posts in every series attacking the likes of Colleen and Linda Nolan, Ulrika and many other women etc for being bitchy (and ignoring when men have 'discussions' criticising others) and DS didn't like them much.

So it must be something else. They may like her feistiness, her go-getting personality, her zest for life (I don't have a high regard for her, by the way. She's too cocksure and abrasive but I can see why others might like her).

DS is often out of step with the voting public. The online polls don't always equate to someone picking up the phone and paying to save a HM.

Maybe its her refusal to hide who she is, maybe its because she is so direct, unlike others who are keeping a lid on who they really are, maybe we realize we are NOT voting for a new BFF, sister wife or mother, JUST a contestant on an entertainment show!!!

Aaron, Deana and Gina were ALL very popular on DS, AND the wider public, the live audience are the ones "out of step" and NOT representative, thank GAWD for that!!!

She's interesting and compelling, she has alot of strong opinions and willing to stand for them even if it causes disapproval or backlash.

She also seems to know who she is, and doesn't let other things define that.

She's also rather attractive physically, has an interesting style about her, an interesting accent... and aspects of her personality are attractive.

Also she's not that one-dimensional where you can get bored with them getting air time, there's alot of things she brings to the table to keep an observer mentally engaged.

Noone's perfect, of course she has faults but she's easily the most interesting housemate for me, all things considered.
[that could change in the future]

Destroying Dappy for his pathetic misogynist double standard attitude and views also doesn't hurt. You go, girl! *snap*.

All that being said, it's relative to the group of housemates. I don't think the others are that great and so it makes her greater relatively.

I really don't like her. I thought I might during the first few days when she was with Evander, but once the handcuffs were off I really went off her. She should have gone last night imo.

I have to confess I don't watch BB as avidly as I used to so what you're saying may be true in those cases. However, Luisa received enough votes from her fellow HMs to get put up for eviction and not enough to escape the bottom two when the public had their say.

If she stays in the house (which I hope she does) it will because of BB and not because she's popular with the paying public. She wasn't well liked when she went in and so far she's done very little to redeem herself.

Yes things started to change on here with Gina. She was obnoxious and bitchy but people liked that. Whereas the other 2 examples Aaron and Deana stand in fine tradition on here of favouring the interesting underdog, the ones that are savaged on the likes of BOTS. It has flipped over now and large parts of this forum are now turning in to the BOTS audience.

Or, there simply isn't a likeable underdog such as Aaron in this series and so people have had to shift their interest a bit.

Who would the likeable underdog be within this scenario? Because i sure don't see one. Certainly not on Aaron's level.

There isn't an obvious one in this series but that's not the point I was making. The bitchy, obnoxious ones were never very popular on here until fairly recently. There has been a change. I don't know if the make up of FM has changed or people are looking for different things out of BB now.

Agree, I like her also for the reasons you've listed above. She's great CBB entertainment.

Not by any means my favourite person in there but in HM terms, she's more than earning her keep.

It does seem to be alot of different people than i remember a few years back. I was actually surprised Dexter was supported so much.
Perhaps there has been an overall shift in the forum's view.

But there had been a push to why is everyone getting the big characters out so soon, they need to stay in for entertainment, so... perhaps that attitude caught on and that's what we're seeing now.

I think she's one of those people who make a great HM but who I'd cross the street to avoid in the outside world.

As a person, I can't bear her but she's fascinating to watch, even if it's not always in a good way. I do think she's in danger of over doing it though and probably needs to learn when to STFU

Where and when did it become a good thing to 'be so direct' to the point of offending and insulting and haranguing people? It's like some kind of urban myth; being rude cannot be excused away with 'she's being herself' 'she's real'. She's not. She's self-centred and rude.

In don't find her particularly interesting or compelling. I find her whiny and irritating and her 'points' tend to consist of well-worn populist nonsense. I agree with your final point - I've no favourite this year; I thought Ollie or Sam might be but I don't know the first thing about them.

Completely agree with this - well said. Gina was a horrible, horrible, dull, mean housemate. That's NEVER the forum favourite on here..... not until Gina.

Fair enough, we're all not going to like the same things. I can see why some wouldn't like her.

I might not even like her in another group dynamic, there just isn't that much else going in there.

Dappy, Lee, Jim? Three of the worst celeb housemates that i can recall, granted Jim has some funny moments but he rubs me the wrong way in his attitudes and brashness.
[Well, perhaps equal to HAM]

Ollie's pretty great but we barely see him, same with Sam.. i forget Sam is even in there.

Casey is a bit "meh", tries way too hard... Liz is just too weird for me with the animal stuff i can't take it, Linda and Jasmine are ok i suppose but kind of lesser versions of Luisa.

I don't know, there just isn't a great selection in my view, this house. As a result Luisa is almost larger than life, based on the others and the house dynamic.

I don't mind her as a HM but nothing more than that. She brings more to the house than Liz or Sam imo but I am sure I will soon grow tired of her screeching and arguing.

I like her direct and uncompromising approach, she calls a spade a spade and that's a very good quality to have.

BTW I am now waiting for someone to confirm Dappy the Nappy's education qualifications A's will not feature at all he is not that intelligent or educated.

She's plain rude and inconsiderate and anyone in her path would get squashed like a fly.

No its not. Like these phrases 'keeping it real' 'tell it as it is' more often not it in actual fact involves someone spouting there opinions which are often wrong, highly subjective or downright rude.
