I now have no sound on youtube on my Freetime box. Does anyone else have the same problem? It must have happened in the last few days and was probably after the update. All other catch up is OK.

Here's a temporary solution until a permanent fix is put out.
Launch YouTube via a HD channel and you get no sound, however if you launch YouTube via an SD channel you do have sound.

To be strictly accurate you get no digital audio but pretty sure the analogue audio out is still there. Hence the poster able to hear the audio on his TV but not via his AV amplifier.

Yes but I didn't realize this because my AV amp mutes the TV sound.

So if I launch youtube while tuned to a SD channel I will get sound? I will try that, Thanks.

Yeah that seems to be the case while using a surround sound amp via HDMI and Optical.

Yes, I have inputs to my AV amp from both digital and analogue inputs. After accessing from a HD channel. selecting a analogue input restored the audio.
