Not nearly as embarrassing as your juvenile obsession with this. Wow!!!

While I believe that Dappy is almost certainly a misogynist, I think the point he was trying to make was that women who sleep around are judged to be slappers, whilst men doing the same are not. In other words, he was pointing out the double standard that already exists. In which case, he is right, but not for the reasons stated on the poll.

How can anyone possibly take Dappy seriously, everything about him is a joke.

Dappy's like a feral child left locked in a room for 26 years with a TV set that only shows BET

His lack of social awareness is breath-taking, if he could only know what qualities TRULY maketh the man when it comes to others respect, appearing to know nothing much more than how to 'chirps your way out of a kickin' from the bad mans dem' or how to lure a gullible teen into bed really isn't enough to arm you for communication with the world outside

Unfortunately for 'mans like Dappy' EVERYONE outside of that persona sees through the posturing/language and knows full well it's an assumed act mostly acquired from the blinkered - later cringed at - adolescent fear of exclusion, fear of the real self under the cap, there's so so much he visibly hasn't learned yet, reaching out in the dark for manhood, I just hope he encounters enough profound male role models in his life to one day drop the BS and be himself

Neither seemed savvy enough to pull out of the shouting tho, Luisa did herself no favours by not recognising that at the time and I suppose mentioning his ma didn't help - but even then all that dumb kneejerk playground YOU DON'T KNOW MY MUM reaction should be risen over, it removes the argument into something else and the main point gets lost, I understand her losing it tho

Dappy was only wrong because he slagged her off. Not even slags deserve a slagging off.

You see I dont tend to follow the crowd and jump on the bandwagon of Dappy bashing.

I call it fairly, regardless of how he looks, his height, his accent or all the other petty things people feel to constantly bring up during there session of Dappy ranting.

Dappy has made some fair and valid points and creating discussions here.

Both as bad as each other. Why isn't there a button to click for neither on the poll?

Because it's not a poll about how they argued , but what they were arguing for , I did consider making it that but changed my mind

Valid points mean nothing coming from someone without the qualities to make them

If your whole persona's a transparently make-believe joke then don't blame others for failing to take what you say seriously

Exactly. The argument started because he was talking about how many times he cheated on the mother of his sons. "Numerous times"

In my day, it was fine for a guy to 'sow his wild oats' and he was applauded for it.

A girl however that chose to sow her wild oats was classed as easy meat and frowned upon.

No guy wanted a 'loose' woman as a girlfriend or wife, they preferred that their partner had been a bit more selective in their past.

Seems double standards, but that is the way it was.

I'm of the opinion that no one should have multiple goings on in one evening regardless of gender. But maybe that's just me. It takes all sorts to make the world go round.

It isn't for me to judge anyone, but I don't condone it.

Dappy has the right to an opinion, regardless of what you think of his persona.

Unfortunately there is a Dappy bashing gang on here. You know the ones who call him every name under the sun, then smugly pat each other on the back like they have achieved something special.

I can't take ANYONE seriously as long as they insist on walking around like a gangsta version of a circus clown, the arse of their pants somewhere round their knees, boiled-wash undercrackers on show for all the world to admire. Why don't they just go the whole hog and shuffle around, looking terminally confused, with their pants round their ankles. Maybe that'll be next year's look.

Yes, I think that is my own position on it. Of course Dappy's logic was tragically poor, but Luisa was so unlikeable that she threw away what should have been some kind of high ground. And Dappy gets all the brownie points for having the maturity to apologise first.

It's just possible that you are right. I was debating that point. Actually I think he is too muddle-headed to make that distinction, but he was definitely taking the view that 'the world' has decided on this point, and not him personally.

Actually I thought the two who came out of it best were Jasmine and Linda, though I have not been a fan of either. They both took a reasonable stand-point and put it over without getting personal or aggressive. I almost applauded at Linda's "I'm not taking her side, I'm defending women."

My winner of the whole argument was definitely Linda and I also cheered when she said that she was defending women..

Personally I don't think either of them were in the right. But Dappy came over as looking the idiot and a dick head! Dappy is just so damn pathetic and childish.

The wording of the poll is a little bit skewed, I must say

Anyway, regarding dappy's mum telling him that men can do things women can't ... and women can do things that men can't

What does the forum make of Louisa going off for a cry in the toilets ? ( twice )

Does dappy's Ma a have a point ? ... could a bloke have done that with the same effect ?

I can't believe that as many as 20% of the current pole think that Dappy's double-standard views are right this day and age!
