Firstly I am glad Sharon is leaving behind the R & R, she deserves her own business on the Square and a upmarket wine bar is reflective of the Modern East End.

What would you do if you were DTC with the R & R however?

I'd rename it Harridan Lives, employ all of the local harridans/screeching women at the bar so they could judge those who choose to go clubbing in the daytime endlessly. All customers would be men of course, as all Walford males are somehow controlled by their own resident harridan/screecher.

While I think it should be a more modern club the set just seems too small to be plausible as a nightclub. It looks so pokey and always seems empty even when events are on in it.

Border it up and not use it for a while as they have done with Arghee Bhaji.

Have Ronnie and Roxy run it....they could turn it into a gay bar.

Turn it into public toilets

I'd have it as a proper night club. Night clubs can be small, I liked the 2001 nightclub that Mel burned down.

It was shit club, they slowly downsize the set to nothing, they need to get rid of it or expand it, they've not used loads of sets in a while so surely one of them can be disbanded and allowed that one to become bigger.

I think Kat and Bianca should have their own clothes store. Probably not in R&R though. Instead that could be turned into some sort of office-type business (Ad agency, loanshark (!), events company etc.) run by Danny.

Knock it down, I don't think it should be used for anything else.

Turn it into a Scientology church.

Dot would probably be outside protesting if that ever happened. Didn't she try and get Mercy's nan to come to her church because she thought her one was better.

lol yeah she did! The Scientologists will probably fight back and follow and film her all around Walford.

Yeah when Steve Owen owned it, it was of it's time and up to date but the subsequent revamps have been awful.

It's a fairly shit club, way too pokey and nothing like the pumping hotspot it's made out to be. I don't know why more people don't just go 'Are you having a laugh?' when asked if they fancy the R&R on any given night. They should realise it's limitations and just turn it into the kind of place still open and letting into drunks and degenerates at 3.30 in the morning. Shirley could run it and call it 'Last Man Standing', although she seems happy enough sucking the optics dry at the Vic now. It's finally all come together for her.

That club is so small it belongs in Edinburgh! Seriously all the clubs here are underground and very small (except a few).

I'd just like it remodelled but just as a wine bar as the OP suggested, or even as one of these craft beer bars that brew and sell their own produce. They good bring in a new character looking for premises. Even throw in a beer garden!

yeah I think Ronnie and Roxy should take control again - it is their club after all. I think the set is being used for other sets at the moment but I guess its only a matter of time we see it again.
