Holyfield: the Fernando Torres of reality TV?
Altar of Onan

Purportedly paid £600,000 and yet can barely string two words together.

Channel 5 made a serious fiscal misjudgement here.

Has there been a poorer value signing for CBB?

It hardly seems a fair comparison when one is a native English speaker and the other isn't.

Hes on a par with Sam, although she wouldn't get as much money, she's probably getting the minimum wage, and Dappy is probably doing it for nothing as he is so successful. innit

£600k for what he did in the house is an absolute dream.

And me. He's relaxed and laid back by nature...unless he was in the ring. I liked his quiet and unassuming presence in the CBB house. Can you imagine if he kicked off the way Dappy did? People would be running for cover and he would get even more stick in this forum. He was in a no-win situation.

Probably a better housemate than Torres would have been.

That can't be true surely?

As far as overpaid early evictees, no-one will ever be as much of a waste of money or space than Ron Atkinson.

Even in the niche category of 'inarticulate over-the-hill American sports stars', Evander offered more than Dennis Rodman did, despite being in the house for about a third of the time.

£600k is probably more than what they spent on the first few Channel 5 series' combined. (the celebrity one with Jedward and Kerry Katona was funded with 5p and a button found down the back of the sofa)

It was never going to be a great signing, whatever they paid for him.

He's a quiet sportsman from the US bible belt and he was put into a house with immature show offs. He seemed to have absolutely no idea what the show was and what the hell he was doing there.

Considering C5 introduced the silly twist that got him evicted they deserve to lose lots of money.
