Recording SMS messages
How can I record an SMS message thread?
Can I send it to an email address? I use an Android 4.2.2 |

Just like keeping emails and quoting them in correspondence. So basically SMS received sent to an email addy for keeping. I delete all my SMS messages as soon as I have read them. Also to use SMS text in a Word document. Are the SMS messages in an accessible file on the phone - in Android 4.2.2? |

Not sure exactly what you’re looking for but have you had a look at “SMS Backup & Restore” in the Play Store.

SMS Backup+. This regularly does a backup of your sms messages to your GMail account and they are put into a folder marked SMS and can be read from there exactly the same as emails. You can then of course forward, copy or whatever.
Been using this now for over 18 months, especially for business sms. The beauty of it is you install and forget it until you need to read a message. Simple. |
