I think he CAN be a nice guy, liked him for a couple of days but when he puts on the full on "gangsta" act he is a complete twit!! He needs to STOP playing to the cameras, trying to give the viewers what he THINKs they want.

I think one of the problems is that even when he's trying to be sympathetic, he can come across a bit aggressive. For example, instead of just calmly apologising, he was saying "Look. Look, look at my eye! Look at my eye! LOOK!" in a kind of defensive/aggressive type tone whilst being very close to someone's face. He can't seem to be non-confrontational, it's just his tone of voice and demeanour I guess.

No, you're right, they don't. I've never held the view that if someone says they're sorry it makes everything alright.
It's perfectly obvious that he still holds the same misogynistic views, he's just trying to hide them in case it loses him votes.

Dappy showed himself to be a complete moron and acted horribly. It was good he apologised but a nice guy would not have behaved like that in the first place.
