I'm still confused, mainly about the twist. Luisa shouldn't be up as Jim nominations wouldn't have counted.

They appear to have scrapped the twist as it no longer on the website

I've always thought that two-votes-and-up is a weird system. BB is still punishing people for nom-talk but it must be terribly easy to get someone up now that you just have to agree with one other person. If you share a bed with someone it's impossible to prevent secret talk. It's not really in the spirit of the show (yes that's a laughable thing to say now, but still...)

I understand why people don't like head-to-heads (although they don't necessarily bother me) but surely this is going too far? Do people like it regardless of whether it's VTE (like BB14) or VTS?

They've never actually addressed what the actual rules are though.

If it's the three housemates with the most nominations fair enough. But lately there's been certain scenarios where it's been if you receive more than 1 nomination you're nominated.

I just wish there was a bit of consistency when it comes to the process. The lines are very blurred. Yes it was always better when more than two were nominated, especially with a vote to save, but when there is ONLY multiple nominees and not 1 on 1's it makes the multiple nominee evictions less special.

Completely agree. It is the one thing that particularly annoys me about Big Brother recently. It really should just be the three or more housemates with the most nominations, as it was (I believe) in the early days of C5 Big Brother. They really need to be a lot more consistent.

You could argue that the first eviction twist was designed to keep Luisa in

But that isn't the problem, the problem is that anyone with 2 or more nominations is up. The rule is crap, it should just be 3 with the most nominations is up.

I really hope its just a straightforward stop and count the votes on Wednesday.

If it is we will be thankfully shot of Liz

If its a stop and start one again Luisa and Jasmine will be in danger as the public will try and save Liz as they like characters being evicted

Not me. I think 2 up is fine, arguably even the best case, since it's easier for people to treat it as to-save or to-evict as they choose.

“I thought this forum agreed last year that 3 or more up for every eviction is the best idea for many reasons, one being that in a vote to save with just 2 up then it may as well be a vote to evict and so it makes the result predictable and allows the public to get rid of the most controversial one of the two.”

I don't think it's an "agreed last year". The people who want voting to save have for years wanted at least 3 up so that it will have more chance of keeping in even unpleasant "big characters" that most viewers want out. The claim that 2 up is "predictable" is just opportunism, since no one's offered solid evidence that it's true.

Quote:
“I have loved everything about this series other than they choise to ditch the LF which would have been priceless for this series.

Well done producers and C5 for giving me a truly amazing series so far,and please keep the 3 or more up format as it makes the show less predictable, more exciting and with a vote to save will help to keep in the housemates who are putting effort into the show.”

I think this series is being ruined by some of the older housemates, and that Jim Davidson's popularity shows there is something pernicious about CBB's effects on its viewers.
