There was a thread yesterday with reports from his ex relating to domestic violence. In one instance he was reported to throw car keys in her face at close range because she said she wanted to drive.

Having said that he has been a lot better in the house than I expected and I admire him for the restraint he has shown towards some very trying people. Perhaps old dogs can learn new tricks or then again....

Let's wait until the fat lady sings eh?”

Agree with this.

I didn't know that but was clearly joking. Sometimes we say things without thinking but I honestly do by no means agree with domestic violence and am sorry if i gave that impression!

I didn't take it that you did Leanne, so now worries from me.

To be honest, I'm not a violent person but even I feel like giving a few in there a good slapping with some limp lettuce. They are trying my patience no end lol

Ah yeah that makes sense. Charlie Drake was in it when I saw it and he's been dead for years.

I'd have liked to see Boy George in with Jim, because he's less of a fragile flower than Brian Dowling. I think he would probably bounce off Jim's humour quite well - or end up verbally destroying him, one or the other!

Oh I would love to see Pete Burns in there with him - who would destroy the other one first?

I think Charlie Drake actually was seen as a sort of national treasure in his time.
I don't think Lionel ever was.

Not sure what it takes to be seen as a national treasure to be honest. In the papers a while back Cheryl Cole was referred to as one.

Go figure lol
