Jennifer Lopez - Same Girl (She's gone back to her R&B roots!!)
Here's a preview of JLo's new single 'Same Girl'. It's the lead single from her 10th album. The song was written by Chris Brown. I'm glad to see Pitbull is not in sight anywhere.

Her vocals sound terrible. But i have been wanting JLO to go back to her R&B days. imo, she has never done anything to match the fantastic material she gave us from her early days.

I kinda like it. Makes a change from the dance music she's been doing since 2011. Looking forward to hearing the full song!

I'm glad she's returning to this sound, but this particular track isn't very tuneful and certainly isn't memorable.

Seems as though this is just a promo single. She said on Jay Leno that this video was cheaply shot, guerilla style - it was just a video she wanted to release.

I really like the song, and I think it's strong enough for them to use as an official single.
I think J-LO should do a song like Show Me by Kid Ink/DJ Mustard/Chris Brown. It is a brilliant current example of an urban song which is really catchy and crossed over to the mainstream. She already did a song with DJ Mustard, which I also liked a lot, and could potentially be a huge club hit (like everything DJ Mustard does), but I'm not sure it would do well on mainstream radio like Show Me is doing. |

I don't like it. Didn't she do all of this "I'm still real" rubbish last decade? I don't need to hear it again.
The song is not that memorable and she is hardly singing the chorus. Some other singer is doing all the work. She's still the same girl for sure. Still rubbish. |

I used to love J Lo but since 005 all her output except for On The Floor has been weak. This is no different.
