Liz's nominations were pretty ridiculous, I have to say. Nominating Linda because she looks like her older sister who wasn't very nice to her? Well whoop-de-flamin'-doo! I don't know why BB disallowed Lee's first nomination for Sam, yet thought that one for Linda was absolutely fine and dandy. It really, really wasn't.

Oh and the one for Jasmine too. Even if she didn't know that Jasmine's father had killed himself, that's really not a nice thing to say to someone. I can't believe she thought Jasmine'd take that as a compliment. 'You're so beautiful you make me want to kill myself.' We won't be seeing that on the inside of a Valentine's Day card any time soon, that's for sure.

BTW I love dogs and there was no way that dog was in any distress. It looked to be having a great time.

She was editor of Marie Claire, not Elle, and yes, both titles are run by journalists. She also worked at The Times for a long time - I think she was chief sub on a title there which is most definitely a serious journalistic job.

So she not only 'survived' in journalism, she thrived, and has negotiated her way to becoming one of the UK's best paid columnists.

Must admit I first saw the dog and thought how awful, but the dog seemed to enjoy the game so no harm done. And I think that was how Liz saw it.

She has a right to say if she is worried about the dog I think and was the only one to care it seemed.
