I thought that was obviously from her various columns, no sane happy person would write what she does.

She makes me smile as when she perceives an animal is in any sort of distress, either real or imagined, her eyes flash, her whole persona is outraged and she becomes animated. It is quite awesome when it happens, the realization when the penny drops for her is something else. It is a good thing but sometimes not as outrageous as she tries to make out.

Liz seems to prefer going for the jugular, like KILL and STAB! I thought journalists were supposed to be creative with words, dare I say, even injecting a bit of humour. So something like, " Jasmine, your beauty makes me want stand upside down in a wheely bin!"

I have read her column for a while and she is unhappy in her life, full stop. She wants to be happy with a man in her life, be beautiful, rich, have children and a good career, well she managed the last one somehow.

She is firstly envious of those who have been blessed by good looks which in her book, the husband, children and lifestyle would follow. As she didn't have those looks, it didn't happen for her and her marriage dissolved when her husband had affairs which she wrote about interminably. She praised designer tat and vilified those who didn't wear it, yet it never made a difference to her appeal for men. She wanted kids, not to be but then went on the attack against mothers who speak about their children and upset that group of women.

Her values were skewed when she moved to the country and tried to tell the locals how to lead their lives, with designer bed sheets and perfumed hand wash wondering why she was shunned in the vicinity. She argued her animal doctrine to the local people in the press, ran them down, calling them yokels whilst also describing her designer wellie boots in the same sentence. You couldn't make her up.

How she keeps her highly paid job whilst twittering on about her thousands of pounds overdraft debts whilst living in a desirable area of London, she is nuts and wonders why she gets the hate mail she does. I don't dislike her or even try to understand her, she is like an itch which won't go away, annoying and bothersome.

how is merely having an opinion about something 'trying to force her views down our throats'? she is entitled to an opinion like everyone else and you are entitled to disagree but 'forcing her views down our throats'? Come on.

Very well said. She is a mass of contradictions, pleading poverty & yet banging on about how can cannot live without Egyptian Cotton sheets etc. She drones on ad infinitum about the virtues of being vegatarian & animal cruelty, yet in the next breath, gloryfing in her Bottega Veneta "Butter soft LEATHER jacket/bag that costs hundreds of pounds.
I didn't like her before her entry into the house and so far, whilst not being the worst housemate, she certainly has done nothing to change my opinion of her.

so helpful when unqualified non-professionals give these clinical diagnoses of people they've never met. she may have 'mental issues' (as we all do to one extent or another) but none of us know liz and even a qualified psychiatrist wouldn't smugly diagnose her condition based on a few hours of footage on a tv show!

Yes, that would have indicated (a) a sense of humour and (b) proportion and perspective - two things absent in the main from Liz's bag of writing tricks.

That's the one thing that's always stood out for me in her writing, the total absence of meaningful humour. She tries for humour - and claims that the reason she's often misunderstood is precisely because people don't get her sense of humour - but the fact is, her attempts at humour are so often diluted by bitterness and self-pity, that the 'humour' dies a death before it can raise even the smallest laugh.

So would I! BB are always going to be on thin ice using animals as entertainment and dressing dogs up is just wierd, people who do that remind me of those wierdo's that have the real baby dolls to dress up.
