My upgrade date came today and having looked at the iPhone 5s prices, think that Apple have tested my patience. I have Apple laptops and tablets but don't feel I gain anything from having it al Apple (someone correct me if i'm missing something?)

Looking at the new phones, I'm wondering what to go for. Considering the s5 sounds like quite a jump, does it make no sense to opt for the s4 at this time?

Alternately, TechRadar strongly recommends HTC One, but it's caught in the same cycle as s4.

Finally, I tested the LG G2 and it looked great, and came out more recently.

So what do people think? Haven't properly studied price either so advice there appreciated.

MWC 2014 is just over a month away starts 24th few runs till 27th I would wait till then as most new devices get revealed around that time.

Going all Apple does have its advantages with moving stuff around accounts etc it's really up to individuals and honestly I don't think the S5 will be a big difference to the S4 but I could be completely wrong.

Drop down to a one month SIM only for now. That'll save you some money and you can continue using your current phone for the next couple of months. We will 100% see a few phones being announced Q1 2014 so that'll allow you to choose whether you want to upgrade to one of the new handsets or any other handset that you like the look of.
