Anyone watch this?

It's about a waster musician played by Nick Helm who has had no real contact with his nephew who has to pick him up from school and their relationship develops from there.
The relationship is a bit like Spy with the snotty kid.

I thought it was pretty good. It's a bit anarchic which is Helm's style. Although he plays it better than his OTT standup performances.

Andy is preparing to commit suicide when he is disturbed by a call from his sister Sam, begging for help with child care. Andy and his nephew Errol are reluctantly thrown together for the day. Things are looking up when Andy meets Errol's teacher, Melodie. On chaperone duty, Andy takes Errol to play football with Tiffany and hangs out with Bruce. Andy takes Errol on an ill-advised trip to visit his ex-girlfriend Gwen at her dad's club and Val is not amused

Drivel, but I'm sure the majority will like it as they generally go against my likes and dislikes of comedy.

Having seen Nick Helm on various quiz shows,I was sure I didn't like him or his type of humour. But I saw this, and was pleasantly impressed. If the whole series keeps to the same level, looks like being a good one!

I switched off after the teacher jokingly accused 'Uncle' of being a child molester- completely inappropriate is putting it mildly. Jokes about child abuse? No thank you!

I once saw a live comedian do a joke about child abuse.

He pulled a romper suit from his trousers, threw it on the floor, them jumped up and down on it several times. He then shouted "child abuse!".

Please don't tell me the audience laughed.

I am enjoying this.
Much better than I thought it was going to be even though the mannerism of the Uncle is a little bit David Brent at times.

Talking about mannerisms or demeanour the sis reminds me of my sis

I'm watching it. So far it seems ok a few decent moments which have raised a smile but I've not laughed out loud yet...will stick with it though and see. I wasn't overly keen on Nick Helm before this but he's not annoyed me half as much as I thought he would, not sure how much I like his songs though.
