Ep3 was absolute class!

Best 30 minutes of tv this year.

Gwen has just over took Melodie as the best girl on the show.

As much as I have enjoyed the first two eps I have to say Ep3 was a fantastic return to form. Loved it.

The really startling thing for me about that 'Last Minute Hero' video was that it was the sort of song I would actually have bought back in the 90s, when I was listening to Sleeper, Echobelly and such...

Just caught up with episode 3 and came on here to say how great it was. Good to see everyone else thought so too.

Long may it continue.

Love this show too and find it strange not a lot of people seem to be aware of it.

Even better when I can rewind any lyrics I missed!

Great song. Great episode.

I must be in the minority, i thought the episode was okay but i didn't love it. I thought Eps 1 and 2 were better than this and funnier. Although i will give a BIG plus for getting all the core supporting cast back together from series 1 (Val/Gwen/Casper) for this episode. It was good to see them again and i liked having them back, especially Gwen! Great song and video!

That bloke from Rizzle Kicks didn't do that bad a job either. He's still getting work off of Glue it seems!

I'm guessing that with the episode being Halloween, the whole series must have been shunted back a few months from it's original planned air date.

Love the dryness in delivery from the kids who play Errol and Tiffany. It's brilliant.

I thought episode 4 has been the best of the series so far. Liked the discussing of Melodie's eating problems, as I think there were references to it or at least a reference to a scene in the first series.

I liked the running joke of everyone getting the costume wrong but I also thought it was the weakest so far.

I don't know what everyone else is on about, i thought this episode was the best episode out of the entire series so far! It was blooming brilliant and f*cking funny! This episode had it all for me. Cracking jokes and one-liners plus it had some real depth to it as well.

From the opening to Teresa telling Andy he breaks anything he loves to him meeting Shelley in the bookshop and asking her out then discovering she's pregnant! To his and Errol's Halloween costumes to Andy's love for Melodie to Errol's 7 minutes in heaven game (brilliant!!!) incl. the song to Melodie discussing her dark past to Bruce's very fit ex-wife and then Ghostbusters at the end. It was SO good!

Air-hole and Tuf-fanny! Had me cracking up! Hilarious!
Who designed this door? Josef Fritzel?!

Seriously funny shit!

Roll on tonight!

Last nights episode was surprisingly dark and morbid. I like the fact that we got a bit of back-story to Andy being the way he is but it was well down on laughs. Errol and Sam were just plain annoying and Andy being the bullied non-dominant and less-cool uncle was weird. I didn't hate it but it was just a bit different.

There obviously was a message there for Andy to change the path he's on so that he doesn't end up like his own uncle. They have the same don't-give-a-shit attitude but I don't think Andy saw that until the end. Think next week is the series finale so I'm guessing we're going to see him turn his life around, get a job and be more positive to Errol.

Yes, loved last nights episode, just the right amount of pathos and humour.

Just caught up with the latest one. Probably the best one ever and a very fine performance from Keith Allen.

Keith Allen was great as Andy's uncle, good to see him back on tv again. It was certainly a more darker episode than usual, no light at the end of the tunnel and not as many laughs. Although i had a good laugh myself at how seriously Errol was taking his rock collection!

Not too sure if 'Shit Brains' will change his ways but it is the last episode of the series next week so something eventful will most likely happen. It's a shame it's only 6eps long, it feels it needs like at least 8.

I don't mind the more sombre episodes. It's something different from your run of the mill sitcom.

It good that the show can go off in different directions every now and then.

I wonder when Helm/writers were last at the jobcentre. I think a helpful staff member like that is a pipe dream.

I was last there many years ago, and even then it was nothing like that. They make no effort to help people find jobs.

Last Place Hero was my favourite episode, and I enjoyed the series add a whole. I hope it returns.

I was there once when I was made redundant, in order to claim benefit (as was my right). I was horrified when they said that in order to claim, I had to say I was available for work on a Saturday. In fact, I never did get anything back from the state, as by the time I qualified for benefit, I had a new job.
