I like it, but I'd like a hell of a lot more if they'd ditch those seriously terrible song sequences. It's not as if they're even funny.

There have been some good songs. The peisode in the music studio was begging to have a song/video break out during it and it was probably the best of the 2 series.

Also it's part of Helm's standup routine so a bit of self indulgence on his part to mix comedy and music. At least it's different than your regular sitcom.

I might have bought the album of songs from the programme from itunes

Just caught up the with the last episode of the series. As an episode of Uncle i thought it was okay, not one of the best. It had its moments particularly when they went to cash the cheque and insulted the guys mum! I also liked the return of Roopesh. As the series finale i thought it ended brilliantly and on a cliffhanger. Did anyone really think Andy was going to turn his life around?

Teresa pregnant with Andy's baby? That's some series 3 of Uncle right there! I'm guessing no more Melodie now.

Really hope it comes back, i don't think there's any news on series 3, either way with no more BBC3 soon i hope the show moves channel to BBC2. The shows worth the move.

BBC Three isn't being axed, it's just moving to online only, so I would imagine they'd keep it on there.

The original pilot was on C4 so as a last resort they could look to move back there.

Series one has rerun on BBC One, so future years' episodes, even if initially run on neo-digi-Three, could turn up on One for televiewers...

Can't see it staying on BBC3 when it goes purely digital, would've thought BBC2 would be a good fit.

Had the good luck of meeting Nick at a DVD signing he did with Elliot (Errol) at HMV Oxford Street last week. He's either lost a stack of weight or else the camera really does put on a minimum of 10 lb! He looked great, and was absolutely lovely too, taking ages with each person to sign, chat and pose for photos.

Did you ask him if there was going to be a 3rd series?

Third series commissioned.

Will be on iPlayer to start with and probably a repeat run on BBC1 or BBC2.

The first episode of series 3 is on iPlayer and is getting a repeat on BBC One on Fridays at 23:25. What did you think?

I didn't find it as funny as previous episodes, maybe because Rolly is older, it seems a bit more scripted.

Surely it was always scripted?
