Kindle syncing - rereading a book

I am reading a book on Kindle for the second time. I switch between reading via the Kindle app on my iPhone and iPad.

However, because I have read the book before and gone to the end, whenever I try to sync my progress between the devices it automatically goes to the end of the book stating that this is the furtherst progress made on any of my devices.

I have tried deleting the book from my device and reloading, but this doesn't do anything.

Does anyone know if there is a way to effectively reset the cross-device syncing and let me start again? And if so, how do I do it?

Its quite easy actually.

Just sign into your Account from a web browser, go the “Your Account” drop down menu on the right side of the screen (next to the search box), and select “Manage Your Kindle.” When your list of books comes up, choose “Clear furthest page read . . .”

Thank you. You were right, it was incredibly easy. I never think to go into my Amazon account but was searching about inside the Kindle app.
