Linda has been badmouthing and smearing Jim from the moment her VT appeared on the screen on night one. She has endlessly been picking away at him. It has been a calculated campaign to ruin a man's character and reputation.

She has done everything within her power to turn the house against him. He has shown great restraint, mostly walking away, despite an onslaught from Linda.

She is permanently looking for him to slip up and last night was the perfect example. Jim asked if Luisa doesn't miss having a man around the house, which was a harmless and perfectly reasonable question to ask, and then Linda tries to paint him as some type of male chauvinist monster for doing so.

She then lies about Jim calling her an arsehole when in fact he said something about making her dinner. And remember this was shortly after she herself had referred to Jasmine as an arsehole, you really couldn't make it up!

Well, Jim finally snapped, and gave her a taste of her own medicine. Perfectly understandable when you consider the constant personal attacks he's had to endure, he is only human. Let's also remember it was Linda who brought her husband into it on night one when she told Jim she still holds a grudge for an argument he had with her husband over 20 years ago. The reason Jim said ask her about Frank Carson's dressing room is because that explains the grudge she has. It all goes back to that.

Linda is a sly, manipulative, calculating, witch.

I agree with all of that.

When she can fall out with one of her own sisters who lived doors from her and not speak to her for years we aren't talking about a woman who can't live with confrontation in her life. I would go as far as to say she positively thrives on drama and upset.

Won't argue with that.

I can't say i'm surprised!

She comes across as an extremely vindictive and bitter woman.

I am totally in agreement with the posts on here, but just know we will be subjected to much moaning and wailing and knashing of teeth for months to come from Linda.

She needs to get her fee, go on holiday, relax and then have some therapy to help her get over her demons

Totally agree. Linda should have explain what her husband did rather than making Jim the bad guy.

I agree with the OP. I don't know how Jim has held it together for so long. I am normally quite placid, but I fear I would have lost it with Linda a while ago. She'd test the patience of a Saint that one.

IMO of course.

You're absolutely right, Hector. She just kept pushing on him - picking, just droning on and on. In the real world, Jim could have left the area and away from the drama, but he's stuck in there with her. And she's been bad mouthing him to everyone in earshot, just like Lee was doing to Casey.

She really is lucky he has been as sedate as he has been. A lot of people would have laid into her a long time ago.

I liked her just fine until last night. I did see the sneers and mean streak, but kind of brushed it off.. but last night, she really let her true colors show.

The winner isn't the one who officially wins, the winners are the ones who achieve what they wanted from the show. My personal belief is that Jim is trying to change the majority of the publics perception of him for the better, and in my opinion is winning hands down, and all Linda is doing is assassinating her own public profile while bolstering support for Jim.

She needs some form of help to become a happier human being, as it looks like she can't function well in situations without getting extremely aggressive, as I have said if the roles had of been reversed and a man had done all this to a women there would more of an outcry.

Linda seems to hold on to grudges - look at how she was with Julie Goodyear's husband. She would be a much happier person if she could just lighten up and start to enjoy the BB house instead of constantly goading Jim. She is doing herself no favours and having the opposite effect by making Jim more popular.

Her dislike of Jim was mentioned before she even entered by Emma, if I remember correctly.
She has not let up the entire time she has been there, her sole rai•sons d'ê•tre for existence seems to be to bad mouth/discredit Jim, she seems obsessed with him.
Not very mature behavior for a woman in her fifties for god's sake just get over it woman.
She looks much older than her years the bitterness etched on her miserable face. Apparently she did not even know Jim until going in the house, you would think he had in the past ripped her off for millions, slept with her husband and got her daughter pregnant the way she is carrying on!

So what if she's always hated Jim? Doesnt make her a bad person. I can't believe everyone's on Jim's side. He's a horrible bloke. It was so pathetic to bring that dressing room incident up. It's not like Linda stole any money. She shouldn't be blamed for what her late husband did.

But that's why she hates Jim, it all stems from that dressing room.
So he put the anger in context as she was making it clear that they don't like each other, may as well explain why.

Jim's had plenty of chances to bitch and backstab the other HMs but he chooses not to and always seems to take the high road. Even in the diary room, it's all water off a ducks back. I wonder if his skin is so thick after being a stand up comedian for so long. I do think the comment about her husband was below the belt there was no need to drag him into it. He is acting his age, unlike Linda, and coming across in a cool and collected manner whenever she launches at him.

Yeah but Jim must of known that Linda wouldn't want people to know about it. Who would? Maybe if he had to mention it he should of done it privately with Linda. Not just hint about it to Louisa.

I'm no fan of Jim but Lynda's behavior is unacceptable, why couldn't she have had little to do with him and least said soonest mended attitude instead of trying to turn everyone against him and constantly sniping at him, making mountains out of molehills.

It is there for the world to see on Linda's sisters website, perhaps she should also be in the mix

She is a bitter harridan determined to bring him down however much he has tried to reform and not react.

Who is reacting? Who is calling names? Linda

Well maybe if Linda had kept her big mouth shut he wouldn't have said anything. He's not just blurted it out out of nowhere. It came out because she has been on at him since day 1.

It's as simple as this, if Linda hadn't goaded him then Jim wouldn't have said anything. It almost seems like Linda wanted something like this to happen to suit some sort of crazy agenda she may have.

I'm not really a fan of Jim, but the relentless bullying and manipulation of others against him is disgusting.

Nothing Jim has done is as bad as her behaviour here.

Jim mentioned the, ' Dressing room' incident & his subsequent argument with Linda's husband, as the reason she has held this grudge, against him, for 20 years.

I wish that she would let it go. It is spoiling her BB experience and His
