I use it for my older knives but for my newer (Robert Welch) knives I only use their own pull through manual sharpener.

Tefal acti fry, one of my best purchases ever, use it at least twice a week, for chips, wedgies and roasties,

slow cooker and a blender for soups!

Have other gadgets, but are buried in a cupboard!

Who has a favourite knife for everyday use such as chopping and slicing veg etc?

I ordered myself a stainless steel cleaver the other day - haven't had it delivered yet.... I always watch the TV chefs using them, hope it's good.

I would be too scared to use a cleaver. I am looking for a knife 8-10" with comfortable handle and very sharp blade for slicing etc. I cannot do the professional cheffy thing of chopping veg at the speed of light

Neither can I .... yet.... I'll have a go tho. I normally cut myself when I'm chopping veg anyway so in for a penny ....lol
