How do we know they are tedious?

Its been all about that tart Lee and his harem, or who Jim is falling out with, shame they haven't had a lot of air time, they haven't had a chance to shine imo, but one of them will win, my money is on Ollie.

If I had given my time to be on BB I would be wanting to win too but he doesn't seem any more desperate to win than anyone else in there.

I think he's rather lovely and would love to see him win based upon his loveliness alone, he comes across as a real sweetheart.

He did some modelling, it was part of the first (if I recall correctly) series of MIC. The problem was that back then he had long hair, and wouldn't cut it off even though they told him he'd have more chance of getting work.

I know! Considering the fact that he's had long-term girlfriends too, he obviously does like women as well as men - the women certainly weren't complaining (apart from the last one who couldn't get her head around him having male-male porn in his flat).

Ollie has been the most entertaining IMHO - even though we haven't been allowed to see that much of him. He's the one who's made me laugh the most, just by being himself! No love triangles, no arguments, no histrionics - just things like his screaming in the shower because the water's cold....

Maybe I just have simple tastes but I find people simply being themselves way less boring than all the contrived nonsense we've been subjected to for the past fortnight.

I like a bit of both, some normality and gentle humour amongst the drama. A bit of contrast, or else the drama all becomes samey and dull.

I have always loved Ollie's facial expressions, they crease me up. He is a funny man, just not wild and crazy like Luisa.

I had this discussion in the summer - whether people want a nice person to win BB or an entertaining but not necessarily nice person to win. I think there are people who will enjoy watching all the drama but, at the end of the day, want a nice winner. There are those that will vote out the dramatic/argumentative ones and don't like them at all, but may moan afterwards that the show has become dull and wonder why

I'm always torn. I like Ollie, was really pleased that he was going into the BB house, and I don't like Luisa but I can say that the show would have been a lot duller without her - especially as she's also provided some relief from the Lee/Casey/Jas situation. So, Luisa's been good value for money and, should she leave, the show would probably be a lot duller.

So who deserves to win really depends on what your own criteria is for deciding upon a winner. I don't want Jim or Luisa to win but one of them might, and I could fully understand the reasons if one of them did; I like Ollie but I also know that he's not been a pivotal HM and so I understand that many wouldn't want him to win and, though I'll be pleased if he does, I won't mind and will understand why if he doesn't.

I don't think he's boring though; comparing him and Sam, at least Ollie has with and charisma, Sam - who is obviously a lovely girl - doesn't have much of either.

I can take your point regarding BB. Howver with CBB, they are being paid a hell of a lot of money - hence they should have some entertainment value. CBB and BB are 2 different things.

If anyone is paid thousands of pounds - they should earn it and give something - not just be invisible.

I just said this is another thread how both Ollie and Sam are getting the "nice" vote but I don't even mind since they're both, you know, actually nice. If you're gonna vote "nice" at least make sure the person you're voting for is actually nice. Sam from last summer won on the "nice" vote but he wasn't very nice at all despite people on here claiming he was pure sugar.

There's no way to guarantee how a person will behave or what they will do once they get into the house. The producers can't make them sign a contract saying they must do certain things to entertain

- you must suck at least one HMs nipple
- you must bare a breast at least once
- you must have at least one tantrum and threaten to leave
- you must be seen to cry at least 3 times over the course of the series
- you must reveal at least one personal detail that has not been revealed to the public before

It wouldn't be a reality show if they told them how to behave; they are always trying to set things up to cause the most drama, but you never know how different HMs are going to be with each other, who is going to react and who isn't, etc. There is never a guarantee that the mix of celebs they put in will make a good show.

Also, can you imagine a house filled with Luisas? You need contrast.

ETA: At the end of the day the viewers will decide, and different viewers vote for different reasons. It's their choice and their money though

True - but the entertaining ones wo do give value for money in CBB are voted out, and then people have to vote for the ones left in. These are the ones who went under the radar , who did nothing are were just "nice". So what we end up with is voting for the best of a bad boring lot.

A houseful of Luisa's would be more fun that a houseful of Ollie's and Sam's. If I want to be bored I can clean my cooker or the windows, which would be much preferable to watching them.

Ollie is lovely and there is nothing wrong in wanting to win, I think you will find that they would all like to win. I would much rather Ollie or Casey win than Jim Davidson. But you are a Jim fan are you not? I have noticed a number of Jim fans calling Ollie either boring or desperate to win. I just wondered if it'd because some of his fans are worried about the competition from Ollie!

I totally agree with you on all points mugging, well said! I don't think that Ollie is boring at all and although I am not a Luisa fan I do think that the house would have been boring without her this year. Jim on the other hand, I cannot stand and would rather him not have been in the house because I think it would have been a lot happier. He is such a miserable old sod!

I think that Ollie is a lovely lad and would thoroughly deserve to win because he is such a gentleman as well and so well mannered. I also really like Casey as well because she is such a sweet girl!

Ollie, Sam and Casey are nobodies. They NEED to win.

He is a pretty boy with or without makeup, seems keen to stay in and looked very worried last night. I think he might win if he keeps it all love and light.

I haven't, always, agreed with these 'pathetic' men - but, they have greatly entertained me, this year

They All want to win ! It's an accolade, a vote of approval.

Ollie seems a very decent young man - he hasn't been shown voicing an opinion, though. That's a shame, he is keeping under the radar.

Neither, he nor Sam have initiated anything. However, Sam has been shown joining in with bitching !!

May the best man/woman win. Best CBB...... since when ?

I don't think so. I often forget he is there. If he was desperate to win he'd be playing up at every given opportunity.

not seen any indication Ollie is desperate to win at all, he's just there, fluffy , and asexual element to the house who likes his own reflection and has lovely thick shiny hair - a personality he isn't , but he's NICE and nice people often win BB. I'd rather he won that dull Sam, who isn't unique as Ollie in any way, and no idea why BB thought she'd be an 'interesting' character for the show, as she isn't, offering zilch.
