Hes tried to be nice to Linda on a daily basis but she always manages to take offence at something.

Jim tends to be nice to the female housemates until the evening when the drink comes out.

Also, it's a Talent Contest. Seeing as both him and her have earned their living from their talent all their adult lives, would it really be fair NOT to have either of them as a Judge an have them as a competitor instead?

I think you have this all wrong - it is Linda who has been nasty to and about Jim all the way through. He has been nice to Linda several times but finds it easier to keep away from her. She is bitter and cannot forget a grudge even if it happened 20 odd years ago. She needs to let go now.

Laugh every time an anti Jim thread comes up, I'll state some scenarios as I like to do so.

1 he ignores her = he's isolating her.

2 he reacts to her constant venemous hate = he's a nasty man.

3 he is nice to her to try keep the piece = he's two faced and arse licking.

4 he talks about her behaviour to housemates = he's a c word

5 he gets up after being constantly harrased by a women who has targeted him and bullied him and strikes her in the face = arrested and everyone who doesn't believe he can change is right.

I personally think Jim has in the limited showtime we have seen shown strength in not reacting too much.

Most people suppress anger and feelings, its human nature, if we didn't suppress feelings and anger the prisons would be full. ( prisons are already full, build more)

Jim is trying so hard to get that sour faced old hag to be happy.

She looked daggers at him because she thought he had the power to evict her. She is never going to think anything good about Jim no matter what.

I bloody hope she is out Wednesday to massive boo's and we will then see a happy Jim.

That's about the truth of it, with some, whatever he did they'd find a way to throw it back on him it seems.

I know, I was giving scenarios for the Jim haters.

Most of the hate is directed at his past, and one or two instances where he has either defended himself or has bitten.

Either way as soon as an anti Jim post appears I'll use carefully worded posts to explain my thoughts.

I go on facts I see. The fact is Jim isn't displaying any of the negative traits in his past.

Linda who enjoyed fame for a short while and who I know of only through what I read in the press is displaying quite a few negative traits.

He's consistently been nice to her until she snipes at him or bitches or accuses him, or butts into his conversations with others to defend this hypothesis she has that he's a sexist pig.

He has the ability to hate the action or what someone says but not the person..unlike Luisa last night saying she hated hated Jim and Linda gunning him like he is her mortal enemy in the house. Jim's gone up to Jasmine and Luisa after they have been in big arguments with others in the house to help them and give them words of advise and support them.

He's by far my least favourite HM but can we please just give him a chance? He did apologise to her. Maybe and hopefully he's learned something about himself from the other night?
