The problem is she wont go unless she is up for eviction. I cant see the housemates nominating her. I bet she makes the final but certainly wont win.

Hopefully she'll be up next and we can finally get rid of this vile woman.

Also happy to report Jim is now the 2/1 favourite! ”

Best news I have heard all day

Jim is getting a lot of support on FB and Linda is getting ripped apart

Yes, we may as well and I hope he does.

Seriously, all those people who have never regretted things in their pasts are so fortunate.

If the reality stars are automatic winners these days without them having to so much as offer an opinion on what to have for lunch then it all seems pointless

Excellent summary of this obnoxious, manipulative git though you have to admit Linda makes it easy for him. After 5 wives some of whom he abused and yet he is still supported here by women, no they dont change ladies. He has fine tuned his power game skills to perfection.
The guy is very good at head games and twisting things. he has everyone fooled, its funny really. Linda is overly emotional and too quick to snap but she is an amateur compared to Jim.

Nobody has been fooled. Jim has always been a popular figure. He's conducted himself with great dignity and humour throughout this series.

Nothing fool about it. The majority of people see it and support Jim. We aren't all wrong.

How can you honestly say that? How can you know for certain?

I wouldn't call her vile exactly. She's just a bit much.

I don't think that is true - Charlotte is the only reality star to win - none of the others have done very well at all.

They want to be fooled, we all know his history and character. We also know he is a good actor. He is very clever I will give him that and gaslights for fun.
Abusive men dont change but they can be very charming and manipulative. People get taken in by them. According to some of his exes Jim is allegedly abusive, so there ya go.

Examples? I have seen no slyness at all - unless you mean the Frank Carson thing and most of us who support him feel that was wrong. I can forgive one slip up.

Yes it is a well known fact, ask all the women who keep going back to them until they cop on, ask Jim's exes. They like power and control and never change.

The majority factor is hardly a notion of right or truth. How many people are into terrible music, how many people wore a mullet, how many people bought into "hair metal", how many people buy miracle cures to lose weight, how many people bought a pet rock, etc.

Quote:
“The first Pet Rocks were ordinary gray stones bought at a builder's supply store. They were marketed like live pets, in custom cardboard boxes, complete with straw and breathing holes for the "animal."[1] The fad lasted about six months, ending after a short increase in sales during the Christmas season of December 1975. Although by February 1976 they were discounted due to lower sales, Dahl sold 1.5 million Pet Rocks and became a millionaire.”

Yes but this is a TV show based on the vote. Jim is not favourite for no reason and isn't liked for no good reason. 3 times now he has got the most votes.

Clever, however you manipulated my words by leaving out the "harrassing Jim" part that was linked to it, like saint Jim manipulates... I see he's influencing his supporters.

Serious overuse of the word vile on the forums.
Sadly, mostly used to describe women, by women.

Yeah, it's rather unfortunate that Linda is so easily manipulated... she's quick to lose control and become emotional. Very easy to manipulate for a guy like Jim. He could simply smirk at the right time and get under her skin and set her off.

Feel sorry for Linda, that's sort of why they put her in there isn't it after all? Because of the bad blood between them. They're getting what they wanted, but it's quite unfair and uncomfotable as Linda isn't as capable as he is in certain areas of control, remaining calm, etc.

It's like putting an antelope or gazelle in there with a crocodile.

Jim is also a self confessed alcoholic and has talked on the show about his therapy. Alcohol plays a part in abuse - both males and females become violent under the influence. Gazza beat his ex wife - they are still friends I suggest because his family realise he is totally different when sober. Take away the alcohol and often the violence/abuse gets taken away too. Jim appears to be moderating the drinking in the house and walking away from potentially explosive situations. This suggests to me that he has some insight and is trying to change. At least that's my observation
