Actually thats exactly what I thought when she said it.
I never thought she was actually having sex with other men while her husband watched. After all that's not a very nice thing for her husband to be known for, especially as he is no longer alive, and she made such a fuss yesterday because Jim was bringing up something uncomplimentary about him.

This is the first thing my other half thought of too but wouldn't that in effect be speaking ill of her dead husband by more or less stating that he was so rubbish in bed that she had to think of other men whilst doing the deed with him?
