He is so homophobic, that is why he has been in the business for years and it is not known as the most hetro-sexual business to work in. Not just working on TV, but also owning various theatres where he put on various shows and employing a variety of people from the local communities. Plus if he was homophobic, why did he employ his tour manager who just happened to be openly gay?
With regards the wheelchair users, as he has said, his act involves audience participation taking the mickey out of those sitting in the front row. It did not sit comfortably with him to have the audience involved with demonising a front row of disabled people. He set up the British Forces Foundation, which incidently is heavily involved with the rehabilitation of wounded servicemen (severely disabled from frontline duties) at Headley Court. Not something a person would do, if they had problems with disability.
