Gosh, it's a tough one. Hard to know HOW depressed she was/is, when she wanted to die and whether actual suicidal thoughts were had, just because Colleen said it. I've been in a similar place and wanting to die can be very fleeting and comes when you're at your lowest ebb, and the depression can peak then subside with hope and happiness sneaking in. It's not an absolute fixed position, is what I'm saying. It varies in intensity with distraction being an excellent tonic.
But if she went into that house with serious depression and suicidal ideation, her family should have talked her out of it, and the BB team should have done a better job of vetting her. But we just don't know if that's the case. If much of her depression relates to career, loneliness or money then CBB could actually help her. She doesn't seem miserable ALL the time in there, but she's certainly been quite dour and irritable for some of it.
I guess it's possible she's a tough old broad who said "no, I'm doing this. I need the money and I need something to jolt me out of this place" but it's a risk I wouldn't have taken. Coming out to deafening boos might be terrible if she's fragile. If she is that fragile, I'd rather she left by the back door after a proper chat with a BB shrink.
