Agree but this time they have gone a step too far, it a disgrace to all the GENUINE VICTIMS who are going through it.

Oh spare me the lecture. I had friend who was truly suicidal, following the death of her child. She was in pieces, refused to eat, hadn't showered in weeks... Thankfully, she eventually got help.

My point is, no suicidal woman goes into a reality show and starts having a good ol' bitch with the girls. I'm not denying she has been through a lot, but I refuse to believe that the attention-seeking old witch is suicidal.

It is the reporting of it that makes me annoyed Dog... How is this news when really bad things are going on in the world?

She will no doubt talk about this herself when she reports her story to the tabloids etc. But Sky reporting it makes me feel really, I don't know, gutted.

It is a vicarious story made by someone who no doubt got paid to be there. I find it distasteful and in no way am glad it is used as a springboard to advertise BB to a wider audience.

Wait a second...how do you know whether her mental state is genuine or not? Do you know her personally or something?

Ok odd how it is coming to light now it sounds like damage limitation as she is not liked(look at all the polls) also if true she would not have been allowed in the house also her sudden concerned sister would have tried to stop her if in such a bad way, also last thing the nolans are known for being victims.BUT it could be true...

Whether she is or isn't is really immaterial. It's the fact that it's being used in the media as PR which is the sickening issue.

Can I just clarify. Was it Sky News reporting this or was it the front if The Star being shown during the press preview.

A lot of people have had first hand experience of losing loved ones and I doubt many have close relatives that would publically announce their mental state at that time, not even to friends. Well I wouldn't.

It's seriously shocking. It's funny, when Anne Nolan went public about her sexually abusive father, the rest of the sisters condemned her and said that it was a "private" matter.

These bitches seem to pick and choose what's private in their lives, carefully deciding on what to cash-in on next. Vile behaviour!

Nobody knows her state of mind. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can take a guess that a professional would not say 'mmm suicidal, what you need is a holiday, I think 3 weeks in the CBB house would do you the world of good'.

True, but I feel she might be better off telling the producers of BB in private, and letting them know that she needs to leave the BB house because of medical reasons.

Well if this is true BB have a duty of care to remove her surely. Think I may just email them to tell them that! It must be psychological hell in there for anyone who is.

If her concerns where genuine then yes but this is for PR purposes IMO.

But what would be the PR advantage in that? How could Linda capitalise on the sympathy vote? It's been in the public domain anyway in their autobiography. This is just Nolan damage limitation because Linda is making a complete arse of herself with this bitter, vindictive witchunt.

Edit: Linda suffering from depression after her husband's death has been in the public domain in the Nolan autobiography.

Yes I think I may join you, it's still too soon after Denise had her snarky little say

That is a good idea, I might try Ofcom, I shall tweet Colleen with my concerns too.

Disgraceful reporting... they should never juxtapose these things.”

Why are you dragging that poor dead child into a discussion on CBB ?
If it bothers you so much that you need to go around shouting *BOLLOCKS* then go start a thread in GD or ADVICE and get it off your chest . This is the CBB section.

Linda was in despair over losing loved ones recently to cancer and enduring it herself. Perhaps she entered BB with the thought that if she could get back in some minor way into the industry she grew up in and loved then she would find some peace of mind and feel productive . Perhaps perhaps perhaps a lot of things, so don't saddle up your high horse and presume you have the right to second guess her frame of mind either before or during CBB .

She needs the money - she's been quite open about that. Even people with depression have to earn a living.

I'm no fan of Linda at all, but seeing as I don't know her personally, I'm not going to make a judgement about her mental health. I'd say her family and friends are more privy to that than anyone on here.

I think I lost my ability to read between the lines in my disgust that they would sink to this level.

I don't like you saying bitches, but that is just personal to me.

But you are so right. They didn't support that poor woman yet one of them feels it is ok to say Linda is 'depressed'... who made her a psychologist?
Anne is the one who should have been publicly helped and supported.

Not some two bit singer who is aggrieved by a latter day saint (Jim).

Absolutely right, a pathetic ploy to generate sympathy/support for one victim Nolan from another victim Nolan. Hope it backfires.

Nobody should enter the BB house with any thoughts that the viewers should consider the trials and tribulations of their lives, and effect the way they are perceived in the SHOW!
