If it bothers you so much that you need to go around shouting *BOLLOCKS* then go start a thread in GD or ADVICE and get it off your chest . This is the CBB section.

Linda was in despair over losing loved ones recently to cancer and enduring it herself. Perhaps she entered BB with the thought that if she could get back in some minor way into the industry she grew up in and loved then she would find some peace of mind and feel productive . Perhaps perhaps perhaps a lot of things, so don't saddle up your high horse and presume you have the right to second guess her frame of mind either before or during CBB .”

Disgraceful reporting... they should never juxtapose these things.”

BIB that's not really the context of what we're talking about now is it.

I mostly agree with what you say. However I think this is an article in The Star which may have been discussed during the press preview on Sky News. I cant see that Sky itself would pick up on this.

I think, however, that if she did have suicidal thoughts then CBB is completely the wrong place for her and however desperate she is for money she should not have gone in or even been allowed to go in.

I have to say that she is not acting like a depressed person in there.

I just knew they would do that. What disgusting bias!

By the way I wonder if they will ask Coleen to shed some light on what her sister meant tonight about having sex with other men in the presence of her husband.

I thought she was on benefits I suppose maybe the job centre knew about her being offered CBB and said they would sanction her if she didn't take it so she had no choice. They are quite ruthless these days.

That is a good idea, I might try Ofcom, I shall tweet Colleen with my concerns too.”

Didn't think of Ofcom but I really do think housemates should have been screened before entry and if she is depressed BB does have that duty of care to remove her and protect her Health and Safety. It really is a serious concern as some psychologists have left the show because they disagree with the pressure the housemates are put under. It can't be safe at all for a potentially suicidal housemate to be in there surely. Think I will contact Ofcom now in addition to BB production team - good idea. Won't bother with Coleen though.

But you are so right. They didn't support that poor woman yet one of them feels it is ok to say Linda is 'depressed'... who made her a psychologist?
Anne is the one who should have been publicly helped and supported.

Not some two bit singer who is aggrieved by a latter day saint (Jim).”

Well I don't like people shouting *BOLLOCKS* or dragging dead children into CBB threads.
And now Anne dragged into it . I must have missed her popping up on CBB or even bots. Seriously, any chance of keeping on topic ?

None of us know what lurks in someone's psyche . I've seen people who were the life and soul of the party take their lives leaving massive WHY's eating at their loved ones forever more. Nobody can predict it,not even the person doing it to themselves .

It is in relation to the News. I was honestly dismayed that Linda Nolan was an article on it despite all the other things going on in the world.

Sorry Sandy. I totally accept I have brought up something not related but that was my point.

Well certainly nobody else publicises them quite like the Nolan's. There can't be any dirty laundry left in their houses now.

I think the issue at hand here, is that Colleen seems to think that we should all be worried for Linda.

She is in a way predicting it could happen.

(If it is true that Colleen actually said it of course)

Good grief . What does a depressed person look like then ?

Having suicidal thoughts is not displayed by outward depression every time. It is just as often a spur of the moment reaction that might pass not acted on, or might be acted on.

Do you have to be so aggressive. I am trying to be reasonable here. As someone who is a widow myself I know only too well what it feels like to lose your husband.

The bottom line is she shouldnt be in there if she is in that frame if mind. What I was trying to say was that she seemed to be getting on ok in there and please dont lecture me on depression.

If the Nolans could enact this in law, they would. Let's just forget Linda's appalling behaviour in the house, she has been through hell, lives on benefits and is contemplating suicide. She is entitled to our sympathy votes.
