There seem to be a lot of women that look for the men that play around as it's quite a feather in your cap if you can "tame them". They find nice guys like Ollie boring and not a challenge and "bad men" more exciting. Trouble is that if you go for these "challenging" types you usually end up either being dumped half your life or having to put up with their behaviour forever. My father was the former type, which is why I chose a nice guy to marry lol.None of my sisters learned from watching my parents though, and ended up marrying men like my father, they are all single now and I'm coming up to my 34th wedding anniversary

Congrats on your upcoming anniversary, I also married a nice guy, we've been together 15 years, and we couldn't be happier. Like you I also actively looked for a nice guy having spent my childhood with a "bad boy" father. I don't have sisters but I have cousins who chose "bad boy" types, many of who wasted their 20, 30, 40's with these men and are now heading towards 50, single and lonely.

Well done on your choice of husband too, I wish more women would learn from the lessons of those around them, but some seem to not be able to help themselves and others just can't see past the blinkers.
