Not quite sure what you mean by that, the first part was fact, there are MANY performers that take drugs, uppers, downers, painkillers, illegal drugs, anything they can to be able to perform night after night with little sleep between performances, especially if they have a long tour that goes round the country and into other countries. This has been going on for decades ! The second part of my post is me hazarding a guess that that's maybe why Jim took it at the time as he did a lot of countrywide tours at the time. Get a grip people. Unless someone has concrete evidence of the time he falls asleep, the time he wakes up and that he's not allowed sleep during the 23 hours of the day that we don't see, there is nothing to suggest he's being deprived of the right amount of sleep he needs.

No one in there looks to be in any way sleep deprived, and if all the housemates bar Jim seem to be getting on fine without complaining about sleep (including an 82 year old man) what does that tell you? I know all the Jim fans will just jump in and say it tells you that Jim is right and every other person in the house is wrong because it's part of Linda's agenda to force the whole house to keep Jim awake. What it actually tells you is that Jim is just a miserable grump at times. He's no different than Bruce from last year.

I've never had any sympathy whatsoever for someone who goes on a show where you know you have to share a room with 11 other people, that the bedroom lights are kept on until the early hours, and that you're woken every morning with a bloody blaring alarm, who then complains about not being able to sleep! Especially those who are getting a very hefty pay cheque out of it!

By the way the working classes voted Maggie into office three times and it was her own party that took her down. Where does far right end and far left begin? My politics are very centre, but with leanings to the right (I do not believe the State should be the sole provider, but we should have responsibility for our own actions and to help those in genuine need). I happily voted Maggie and am more than happy to say that she is the only Prime Minister who has ever earned my respect.

There again many on the left side would describe me as far right, but that is owing to the bigotry in their views rather than actually having an informed opinion and open mind.

Yes, the sleep deprivation is obviously making him confused and prone to saying bizarre things about himself. He also said he was a chauvinistic old git but I expect we must put any evidence of that also down to sleep-deprivation, and instead take our biased blinkers off and see him as the thoroughly decent, reasonable albeit sleep-deprived man he plainly is.
